Was wondering what my new GTA's would look like on my red formy, if the were painted red...... So did a google and found this, what do you think???

I never liked red wheels, unless maybe it was dark red, but bright red definately not.

 

personally i think it's too much red.

I agree if you look at the top part of the rear quarter panel, between the the two fender flares, you noticed a bulge in the lightness. Im guessing where the rear kind of tapers a bit downard and the creator fail to change this.

Well, I've decided on Dupli - Color T90, which is a dark grey metallic (almost black). Just finished polising the outer rims, will be painting the next day or so, then new tires on Wed. The bird will be back from the paint shop on Tues., cant wait to see her.... Will post pics when she comes home......

 

if it is a real car not a photoshop i'd like to see more shots of the rear of the car

not saying it hasn't been done, that just looks fakes is all.

The car looks really flat, and there is some imperfections in the lighting in the rear.

Yes folks the "stretched" Firebird IS real. I have seen it with my own eyes at the T/A nats.

 

I can also confirm that the car is real as TAdan said. It was at the TA Nats a few years ago. I took some pics of it at the time as it was so unusual.

 

Never said it wasn't, just saying the pic looks kind of like it.

Red rims on a red car never looked quite right to me, i think the color you mentioned you got will look good.

Hey does anyone have any opinions on the Cooper Zeon ZPT tires? They are the ones im thinking about puting on there..... $372 out the door sounds good to me...... What do you all think?

Yep that is my car! The pic is from the TA nats in 02! He and I were in the same class. Wish I had had my dig cam back then, I would have gotten more pics of the car! Yes it is real! 100%

His car. His money. 'Nuff said. I personally don't like it, but at least it isn't badly done... I betcha he has a lot more rear hatch cargo spece then any of us do, except the station wagon hatch they made one or two of... Now that would be neat, put a stretched station wagon hatch cover on that stretched GTA, and I'd even want to drive it once or twice, just for the stare-factor! I betcha he has no traction issues, either. I just hope he has enough motor to back it up. I wonder if the rear wheels are live-axle or just for show... Anyone know for certain?

Black looks pretty good, I'd leave them alone, but it's all up to you. I could go with red, but that looks like the RS thing Chevy did, and well, it's been done.

 

Black is a great color for a red formula.

Also, lowering the car a bit should make it have a really nice stance.
