Looking for pics of black formula 16" wheels with a polished lip
Ive seen pics before of the 16" formula wheels both painted and polished. Im looking for pics of the flat faced formula wheels. I want to see pictures of polished or painted trying to get some ideas. Here are the wheels im talking about.

Did you take off the clear coat and spray the centers and then re-clear? - that's all I can think of to do it.

Bill-
First I stripped the clearcoat on the entire wheel using aircraft remover. Then I polished the lip using 80, 180, 220, 320, 400, 600, 1500, rubbing compound, 1500 wet, Mothers aluminum polish. After that I masked the lip off and cleaned the areas to be painted. I sprayed a coat of primer followed by the black. I just used cheap primer and paint, and they still look great. The polishing by far took the longest (1.5-2 hours)- so long that it's discouraged me from doing the rest of the wheels. Someday I'll get bored enough to finish all of them though. I definitely think it would look great!

Just so nobody gets the wrong impression im not giving up my torque thrust. I sold my factory formula wheels to a friend and wanted to show him how good they could look. My clearcoat is faded and starting to come off so i told him he could polish them are paint them and they would look good.
