I've been looking at those wheels too. They're pretty affordable but I'd have to do many photshops of them on my car before I could really decide- and well, my car isn't very photogenic at the moment.

Crazy has Boyd wheels, not HP's by the way.

i would die to have that car ....everything about it I love!...but as far as the wheels, i don't want anything thats gonna put me back like 2 grand in wheels like boyd coddingtons would do...does anybody know if somebody makes those type of wheels in the same offset as thirdgens? otherwise i might just have to use the spacers ....but crazy hawaiian that is one awesome car, is that sunset metallic paint? i always wanted that but my dad hates the color, and won't let me do it....

Yeah Boyd made them for direct fit (no spacers). They were expensive though when you add in tires. I got the rims themselves for pretty good price, $1600 shipped to Hawaii. The car is indeed SOM, but I didnt get it painted. I bought the car already painted like that. The car came with alot of extras. I'm thinking about getting it repainted another color someday. I'm not really a fan of SOM to be honest. But when it comes down to it, I think its cooler than the OEM colors that come on 3rd gens, so I cant really say anything bad about it. Thanks again for the comments.

 

Those Evo wheels are like $1500, $600 is a steal, lol Id take them even though i shouldnt be buying anything that large right now. Only turnoff is having to use those wheel spacer adapters and I hate that.

Just my opinion, but thats what you were asking for. You can buy an entire set of the ZR1 SS wheels made specifically for thirdgens (see them on Hawks thirdgen wheel section), which look great, for less than one of those Evo wheels

The (17"x8") 3rd gen specific ZR-1's are $689.00 or $172.25 each.

ick, i guess the evo's only look good on certain thirdgen's...i also looked at those ZR1's made for thirdgen's, that was one of my options as well....i'll get my paint done and everything and get the car rolling, then figure out what i should do...too bad there isn't like a shoe store rim shop, where i could go try some on and see if i like them or not....

As far as the boyd Tuned series you can find them here http://www.truckshop.com/home.php?cat=737 . Those HP wheels are easy to find on ebay.

 

thats the company ive been checking with but they dont have them anymore, or theyre not pictured anymore they used to be at this link but they changed the listed rims.

Don't have a Fikse dealer for ya but they will be comparable to, if not more than, the Boyds. I looked into those FM10s a while back - emailed fikse direct to just get a ballpark number - think for a 17" wheel (probably 17x8 was what a asked about) a set came to like $2200!! Yeow! But they are prety hot....just gotta get a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th job......K

back to the spacer question, since the hp evo's are a direct fit to a 4th gen would i need spacers? sorry for the dumb questions i just want to get all the ends strait before i spend a grand.

 

You will not need spacers you will need adapters approximately 2" in size. Those will probably cost you about $300 for the adapters. Suddenly cheap wheels don’t look so cheap anymore.
