it seems no matter what I use I can't get anything that won't streak...

what do the show cars use?

i use window washer fluid on mine...dont seem to have problems with it,atleast i havent noticed them & im picky about my cars so id notice.

every consider the paper towel you use? i use the cheap plain white ones. i think that could have alot to do with it too.

I use commercial grade windex with a squeege.....never any streaks. HTH

Don't fall for all that windex crap. Plus the ammonia will make your tint turn purple. Just use some soapy water and a squeegee. Do you ever see the "pro" window washers using windex?

Yeah, that's why I use "commercial grade" NO AMMONIA! It's vinegar based. The stuff is really nice, don't knock it till you try it!

BTW...ammonia won't turn your tint purple....cheap tint will turn it purple

I had streaks on my windows I could not get off. I tried a lot of stuff, windex, clear view, vinegar and newspaper...etc


This stuff worked the FIRST try! I use nothing else now.

I specifcally asked my guy about using ammonia on tint and he said that it does will not affect it. He uses Lumar tint which is supposed to be good stuff

Most glass cleaners now days dont have amonia so u dont really have to worry to much.
