If those marks don't come off with soap and water, you've probably got some clearcoat damage from some chemical (brake cleaner, heck even dog pee can eat away at it). Best bet after that is to strip it with Aircraft Stripper and polish away...

BTW, don't ask how to polish your wheels in this forum or you'll get boo'd out of here by the search ****'s. It's a well hashed subject.

Spend a $100 and get them all blasted, remove the clearcoat and polish them, or various things like that.

I just sanded down my 92 Z28 rims (started with 60grit in a mouse sander went to 1500 wet sanding) and with some Mother's Mag & Aluminum polish I got an almost mirror shine.

I can't stop lookin at 'em.

Pretty sure walmart has it. otherwise most autoparts stores have something along the lines of that.

Be careful with the Aircraft Stripper. It's STRONG. Like nuclear waste strong.

hehehe I get to silicone blast my iroc rims (gonna have to make due with them for a couple more months until i can put the ZR-1's on) for free! My dad goes and works at an engine shop during the day, and they have a blasting tank. I also get engine work done for free to
