Someone told me that the headlamp pockets were originally glossy black on the Z.
Mine are flat black and I don't think that the previous owner painted them, since I got the car almost new.

Are there differences: say a red Z got glossy black and the black Z's got flat black for the contrast?

ive seen flat black head light pockets come stock on z's my friend pat has an 88 with flat black head light pockets, and he hasnt touched the paint (even tho its about time he did)
