what are those "rib" looking things running along the sides of the hood? It's kinda hard to tell from pics. I like the thing, the wing is a bit much, but i love how it was molded into the body like that, and then they made the glass itself rise instead of the whole hatch.

I first saw this car from someone who went to the winter nationals in Florida in Feb of this year....sharp and I hope its at the Pittsburgh show next week. I can't wait to see it. If I had to guess, the color is met. sunset orange.

The Camaro Legends usually come up here in August for the Pacific Northwest Camaro Club's All Camaro Show, but I have never seen that car. The two 3rdgens they do bring every year ('91 RS Heritage Prototype and '87 LT-5 powered Z28) are hella sweet!!!

I think if they made that rear bumper, I'd buy one. I love how the tailpipes have a cutout....could be another 3.5 gen mod to go onto 86Fyrbrd's car! Sweet car.
I really like that car! As far the wing goes all it is is a 91-92 wing that was made a little taller and molded into the side of the car. The rear tailights and bumper are awesome! I am thinking about trying to use an old rear bumper I have and make a bumper with exhaust cutouts like those. Does anybody know where I can find those clear front headlight covers? I know they used to make them, but I can't find the anywhere.

I never saw them crack the hood on it when I was there.
The ribs on the hood are just some molding they put on there for some styling. The paint was the coolest part

the more I look at that color the more I thik it might actually be "prowler orange" and not a GM Color, look at the left picture on sig and compare it to the rear/passenger side 1/4 shot of the iroc.
If I remember correctly, that's not a concept IROC. That was a car that was customized and is being used/displayed by Chevrolet. I saw it in Orlando at the WinterNationals. Also, the fins on the side of the hood maintain air flow in a straight pattern over the car. The Pontiac Grand Prix GTP is also using this. It maintains a more direct airflow while cornering.

maybe im nutz here but thats actually one of the best wings ive seen on a thirdgen period. Its like an f40's or nsx's but not really tall. I like the rear valence as well, but the hood and rimz look fugly.

Yeah its a pretty cool Iroc. Those rib things are air deflectors, some european import guys use them too on occasion. What there exact function is I don't know. That color is pretty awesome too, its like a strawberry orange color.

I wonder where you could get the Iroc-Z insert on the rear of the taillights. Now that would be very cool.
