Help on flames

I have an 86 Iroc that is hugger orange. I want to put a flame job on it and would just like to hear everyones opinion on the colors and placement of the flames. Just interested in knowing what interesting ideas you guys have.

Im not the biggest in flames, but I've always liked a ghost effect on the flames. Maybe some Z28 racing stripes down the middle with ghost flames?

Flames and Stripes? I don't know. Id love to see a picture of that. don't know if that would look good or if it would be overkill. I look to see if i can find one, if anybody has a pic post it please, now i'm curious

I say white fading to yellow and then red with a complimentary colored pinstripe on the outer edge of them.

I was also thinking about white fadin into bright green, BRIGHT green and then painting the roc wheels green too, hows that sound??? And what about the stripes with the flames?? Anybody seen anything like that??? I am realy curious to see what that would look like

thats is what i would like to see if it could be afforded. someday i am going to teach myself how to do them there is a new dvd out from killer paint showing the steps and tricks. anyone good with an air brush?

I love the ideas,82firebird the flames are coming along nicely, I like the pic, anybody else witha flamin ride, post your pics, id love to see them. Thanks again for the ideas ill have my artist friend draw up some sketches and see which one looks best

I would def say silver flames, I am plannin on going Orange and Silver 2 tone with mine, So I think silver flames with either light grren or medium blue tips would look sick
