Can I clean this?
Pic1
The metal enclosures just rusted into pieces so I just removed them. The plastic is stained slightly orange where the metal used to be, can this be cleaned to make it clear again? I'd rather not spend 100$ a piece on new foglights....but I will if I can't do something about the existing ones.

Try some plastic buffing compound and a wheel on a drill. Just watch your speed and heat buildup.. You can get everything you need at eastwood.
SEARS has them too.

Just incase you didnt know...Those metal brackets help hold the glass on. There is some type of caulking/glue also but i would be afraid of them falling off without them. When i removed the frames for paint the glass fell off one.
I sanded and repainted the frames on mine. Eastwood has some windshield polish that you get a wheel with for your drill. I would think that would polish them up good. Not sure about the pits from rocks. I might try that on mine.

Hmm....a couple ppl had mentioned before that since they didnt' want to pay 200$ for new GM pieces they just removed the rusted metal. Nobody mentioned the metal held it together. I guess I'll have to fabricate a new metal enclosure.
But the orange surface discoloration...it should just polish out?
