My $17 almost stock Trans Am fog lights
$100 each was TOO MUCH to pay for stock Trans Am fog lights, so I used these $17 alternatives instead. These are Blazer fog lights that I got at Wall Mart. The dimensions are the same, the appearance is virtually identical, but they mount differently. I had to make up some brackets, but nothing I couldn't handle.
Here's what's left of the original fog light in it's original position on my new inner bumper.
Here's my new fog light with the bracket I made, held in it's approximate position.
New and old next to each other. It's no secret where the styling for this Blazer light came from. It's virtually identical to the stock light in many aspects. You can see the difference in mounting techniques though.
Here they are just sitting next to each other.
New one all rivited into place.
I paid $17 for the pair of fog lights at Wall Mart. Anybody that has to replace one or both of their Trans Am fog lights may want to consider these. The only drawback is that it is necessary to remove the bumper cover to put these in.

Those look just like the ones I got from Pep Boys. Instead of putting them more twards the middle of the nose, I put them tward the outter side. That's why I wanted the smaller size. I can't believe how much light they put out!!! I can almost use them as headlights.

Here's a look,
I'm gonna do something else with them though. At the time, I had some "Jimmy Rigged" drywall, grating for the vent covers.
