Does anyone make SS rocker emblems for the 82-92?

 

there is a guy on here that adapted the SS badges from a silvarado, I think his name is TPI383, he has a red IROC with Z06 wheels.

 

oh my *** be happy with your iroc/z28 whatever....There never was a SS camaro for thirdgen...

Its like the ricers with their GTR badges on their integras. Ya theres a GTR or whatever integra but its only in like japan not USA.

If it tells you anything, somebody previously mis-badged my car with aftermarket IROC-SS badging. It looks totally out of place and just doesn't fit the car.

So I want to take that crap off (but taking it off without totally wrecking the paint is another matter).

 

i found some sticker over lays on the net but now i can not find them i wish i had bookmarked that page but do you want something like this?

 

Im thinking of keeping the original emblems and using additin SS emblems from the 98-02 on the fenders. Hawks third gen has a nice grille emblem which i may also use. http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/in...?v=1&pid=24295

Not me. if you have SS rims and a SS hood , go for it.

ahh SH|T where can you get those kinda lights at??? I want some clear ones like that!!!!! where can you purchase em?

 

Im pretty sure those are a photoshop. I don't think they exist yet. I've seen a few pics like that. They just copy the reverse lights over 3 times.

sorry i was bord and i was wanting to see what my car would look like when i get the money. but i wish someone would make some lights like the one i made.

but xcamarodriverx make your car a Super Sport if you want i love when people do it its so cool!

First off, I know that I tend to judge people in cars I see that have emblems and stickers that obviously don't belong (like the low-end stock Mustang in my area that's PLASTERED with Saleen emblems... ok...). That said, the car is yours and the emblems are for you, not me or anyone else who happens to look at it. So if you like them, get them. I dunno about you, but I could care less what people think of what I do to my car as long as I like it.

 

personally i think theres a big difference between having a ss hood(for appearnace) and having ss badges( saying your something your not)

but hey if it floats your boat go for it

 

but if you have every thing to back it up then put ss badges on. i mean if you put an ss engine in an RS its not and RS anymore.

 

no, its an RS with an engine...look at the VIN or RPOS whatever it will tell you its an RS not an SS

u cant change a car for what it is...

like putting ///M stickers all over a 318ti...it just doesnt work.

I hate fakes and clones...id love to have an RS with an engine that could take out plenty of Z28s...cause u know its "only" an RS

Its all opinions but its not REALLY an SS no matter what you do to a thirdgen...dont make it out to be..

Well considering that there were NO factory SS's made for the 3rd gens....whats the big deal? Your not cloning a factory modal or anything aftermarket say from Saleen or sum such, and your Not putting SS badges on something that is plain stock or worse...a v-6 I dont see a problem with it.

If the car is Custom, has the Guts to back up the SS claim...and since GM didnt bother to make a 82-92 Camaro SS I think its kinda cool.

 

Would the same be true of a 4th Gen with IROC logo's ? Even though their were birds in the IROC series, can you see any 4th gen with IROC logos ? I think that would be weak personally, yeah we didn't have SS's in our time, but we had IROC's, and what once was will never be again.
