What an AWESOME yellow car!
You dared, and I chickened out! Yup, I very nearly went with yellow for my new paint, too. However, I went back to original.

There were two yellow IROCs at the National Fbody Motorsports event in Memphis this year. The one from Arizona belonged to a guy named Barry and I nearly voted it for "best third-gen". Yours would have topped everyone.

Good show on the car. I am, however, with everyone else that's mentioned the black lamp pockets and blacked-out rear tail lamps. I think It might help set off the yellow. Just remember, canaries are yellow and go cheep cheep whereas bumble bees are yellow and black and carry a nice stinger.

p.s. Here's my yellow. I just *had* to add some yellow somewhere! You've inspired me.

Car looks awesome!

I have a question about the aluminum badges. I really really like the aluminum dash badge. Did you CAD it out and have it made or did you have someone do it for you? Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

All the Badges were made for me from all my existing plastic ones, basically a carbon copy in billet .

That is one beautiful car man! I bet you could feed a third world country for a month with the funds you have invested in that fantastic ride!

I may be weird, but the thing that strikes me as the coolest is the radiator, fans and overflow set up. Awesome! And, the only thing that strikes me as what I would change is, I would take a little plastic polish to the console clock lens.

(bow-down similie here)

Agreed - black headlight bucket, and fix the tailights - really the only things holding this car back- would definetly be over the edge with these two mods added- still very nice

just please do it justice and fix those two points....

Great looking car! Not trying to tell you what to do but black headlight bucked would be a night and day diference!!!

I'm sure a body shop would do that cheap for you! Check around! Go with a gloss and not a flat or semi gloss it fades really bad over time! GL awesome job ! Shawn

Car looks great. Personally, I wouldn't touch the buckets. I think black buckets definitely have their place on third gens, but would just add visual clutter to the overall extremely clean look of this particular car.

Don't tarnish a beautiful car with body colored interior pieces. There is NO place for it on a nice clean interior. With yellow and black his interior would be nicest with black and polished aluminum just like the motor. The ONLY yellow part that I'd allow in the interior (if it were mine) would be a yellow racing harness. Even then it would be in there if the black or grey was on back order and I'm in a rush

I too think he needs black headlight pockets and I'm not a fan of them. The way he did the engine bay though made me change my mind. Excellent car and I wish I had the $$$ for an engine like that.

That is a slick looking car. I like everything about it. You have definetly put in some time. My only question is : "Is that the original mastercylinder?" If I had my choice. I would slap one on from a 91-92 thirdgen. To each their own.

I had a 91-92 Mastercylinder in there but I was having problems with it (no brakes at all) it also needed a brakebooster but it wouldn't have help anyways due to the high-lift cam, so I got the one that you see in the pics from a 1973 Corvette because back then they had manual brakes.

Wow very nice car. Tell your friend he did a bang-up job on those billet badges. To bad some company doesn't offer items like these. I bet they could sell a few.
