looking for pics and comments on which wheels show off the brakes the most

I just bought a C5/Z06 brake upgrade kit and I am kinda in the market for new wheels and was looking for wheels that will really show off the new brakes. I have a 4th gen rear so I have am unfortunetly running spacers up front will makes those brakes look like there 100 miles inside the wheel. I like the look of brakes that are up close to the inside of the wheel. Anyone have any pics of what I am talking about?

2000+ C5 wheels have pretty thin spokes. Z06 wheels do too.

You also might want to consider...if you can find some ROH wheels, the RTs and Snypers are relatively thin-ish, you can get 4th-gen-made ones for the rear and 3rd-gen-made ones for the front. That way it'll show off both brakes and won't stick out in the rear I imagine this might work for other brands but I believe ROH makes their wheels for both 4ths and 3rds.

i think the snypers would be the way to go , other wise i think you should get some custom wheels. Also if youhave c5s like i do if i were you , id get rims with an 8 inch width with 5 inches of backspacing , the stock wheels are 4.75 and i have 4.5 and most people get 4.5 also , and the c5s push the rims out .375 inches , so id just go to 5 inches of backspacing if you get an inch rim .

I'd say compliment the C5 brakes with some C5 rims (thin spoke ones)

An ad in my Hot Rod magazine shows the GT5's on a 2005 Mustang GT that shows some red brake caliper's really nicely.

you don't have to have a thin wheel to show off the brakes. american racing just came out with a new wheel that copies my old boze stinger. get something billet and you can have custom offsets to fit your 4thgen rear as well.

thanks for the replys. I do not want to run any wheel that will require a spacer up front. That is what I am running now. I have made up my mind that I ned to take them off. I just dont like the idea of spacers on my car anymore. That sucks because I really like the chrome ZO6 wheels. I guess Imay have to go with an aftermarket wheel that has a wide varity of backspacings. I posted a while back on those new ARE GT5 wheels. They look good but the wallet cant buy them since I just picked up a new F.A.S.T setup.
I have 315/35/17's on 11" wheels out back. How well would those tires fit on a 9 1/2" wheel? I think the 11" wheels witha 4th gen rear is kinda too much. The wheel sticks out about 1/8-1/4"
