New pictures of my Firebird- what do you think?
I am looking at getting some 17" ROH Snypers and have a Camaro high rise spoiler waiting to be put on. Never posted any pics of my car so I thought I would share with you all. Any thoughts/comments are appreciated, good or bad! Thanks!

Nice ride man!! You should keep the spoiler you have now and just get the rims. It looks real good though, keep it shining!!

That's a purty bird you have there.
I like the ideas you have for it. Maybe a ram air I hood also to balance out the height of the new spoiler for the rear.
I used to own a 1991 Firebird (same body style as yours only bright red). I miss that car!! (especially now since my 84 is down with transmission problems)

the car looks pretty good now, but you asked for suggestions so heres mine, get a 85-92 trans am hood and put the hood bird on , do not and i repeat do not put the ugly *** camaro high rise on your firebird, it looks so horrible on a firebird and its ok on a maro though. And if you get rims i dont think the snypers, what about the ronal firehawks , their pretty cheap right now and its the last run of them ever, and then lower it some because the smaller sidewall will make it look funny .

hehe it's your car, do what you like...that's my main vote...
however my secondary vote is also to keep the spoiler...I think Pontiac/GM did an excelent job on picking a spiler for the firebirds...slim and sleek ^_^

I like the oem spoiler, but sometimes think it looks too plain. I didn't want to go wraparound (price) and thought that the Z28 spoiler would still fit the lines of the car. I agree billsfirebird, I was planning on a RA1 hood or a Formula hood to balance it out a little. Again, I'm just looking for something to set it off a little! I would love Ronal's but they are somewhat expensive, the ROH's I would be getting would be used (again, price!). Besides, that would give me an excuse to lower it and replace the brakes.

Defintiely a very, very, VERY! clean and sharp looking 'Bird!!!
I too question the hi-rise Camaro spoiler, but what the hey, it's your car and do what you want or like with it!
I've got the Formula hood, and like it a lot, but have considered the RA hoods when money allows. Just not sure how it will affect the "lines" of my Formie.....
That car is really sharp now, I imagine you'll only make it better regardless of what you do.

That is nice looking, if it were me, I'd get a formula hood, maybe some ronals as suggested...and then a 4th gen wrap around spoiler. I know you're concerned with price, I picked up mine for 150 bucks, of course I did the work to get it to fit the car, extend the posts and whatnot, but I think its worth the effort.

All this opposition to the spoiler! I kinda like the way it looks, am I nuts? Don't actually answer that.
I think the spoiler will look better if I am ever able to get a taller hood, dunno!? I was also thinking about removing the rub strips and Firebird emblems on the sides and clean it up a little. Funny thing is, no matter what I do to it or add/take away from it. I don't think I'll ever be done. End up something like Zepher! (By the way I love your car Zeph) Thanks for all the comments guys!
Another shot of the back-

Formula hood, '91 Wing, Torque thrusts or Ronals and lowered, and black outs on the tails. A nice, subtle, and original combo.
But I 100% agree, no hi-rise Z28 spoiler, I think it looks out of place on most Z28's to tell the truth.

I also agree no camaro spoiler.
The ronals look great on 'birds. I also like the ROH ZS over the Snypers. They look hot or firebirds. Check out Flyin'low89's old Trans Am. He sold it to someone on the boards. I forget who bought. But it looks great with ZS wheels.

LEAVE IT! it looks great how it is.... just ditch the toilet bowl injection (and the other truck motor crap that comes w/ TBI) and you are set.

How about a Fiero GT wing? It's close to the style you have now, but different enough that people will know it's not stock.

Holy crap that actually looks great! That is a sort of compromise between the Z28 and stock spoiler. And that is the actual width of the spoiler with no modifications? I wouldn't have guessed that a Fiero and Firebird were the same width! Learn something new everyday.
So does anyone have a Fiero GT spoiler they want to trade for a high rise?
