Does anyone know if this company is still in business? I tried to find the company online and ran into a Japanese company called Epsilon but the style is not listed does anyone know if you can still get these new?

Better have $600-800 or you'll never hit his selling price....

hehe

You know where I am coming from bidding on something like this... low ball!

Check these out though:

These "look like" GTA wheels but the offset appears different as well as there being some strange, cosmetic differences.

Thanks for advertising them here and driving up the price. I wondered why it jumped in price so much...

Yep, saw those a couple of days ago. I'm the current high bidder, but I don't expect it to last.... <sigh>

Those wheels are so far removed from the GTA wheel (which was actually first seen on the 86 Trans Am) that its almost blasphemy to call it such.

Is it because its 17" that there is a buzz?

Good Luck on the bidding

Yes mainly because they are 17".. But I have to disagree with the blasphemy part.. Aside from the offset and three-piece bolts, they're pretty damn close. His pics aren't the best so here's a better one.

Notice:

Same number of points
Same BIG,MIDDLE,SMALL,DIMPLE hole pattern
Same double line near the center cap
Same small inner lip to outer lip

Again, if they didn't have the big offset, you'd be hard pressed to know they weren't just bigger GTA's. Plus if you consider that they are true three-piece rims, you can make them whatever offset you want...

Check out this thread to see some refinished restored Epsilon rims in the correct paint: 17" GTA's mounted

shroom...I wish you would have magically made the lips look like the GTA lips on your wheels. I think I'd like it more that way. As it is...I think I've marked those 17inch Vette wheels off my list as possible GTA gold mesh replacements.

I'd really like to go with a set of these for my car but the cost for the rims themselves on top of a set of some 17", 40 series ZR radials makes the cost prohibitive.

I'm still searching for the 16" GTA's.

You buy different front or back hoops, or, if you're really lucky, just switch front hoop to the back and back to the front.
