93 Grand Prix headlights- Silverado? ...thinking of swapping

When my alternator went out (pegging 17 volts for 1 hour) it fried my drivers headlight. They were dim as heck and I really want to replace them with something different.

I have been reading on headlights for the past 3 and a half hours and finished every topic in Body & Interior and this forum.

I like the 1 piece, and I like the silverado one, but it costs $239!

Someone also mentioned the Star Trek Camaro with the 300zx headlights, I like it alright but someone mentioned it would require extreme modifications.

I don't like or dislike the grandprix headlights, but I think they might be the most cost wise, and offer the best lighting.

I'm really wanting to know which is an easier swap, and which offers the best light quality.... Silverado ones are......awesome.....

How is the clearance (how well do they fit?) and how much work is required to make it NOT look like a hack job.

I know that the silverado lights dont quite fill up the headlight buckets all the way, but the shape is pretty proportional to it.

i saw a camaro at carlisle last weekend and it had what looked to be beretta head lights in it. I've owned 2 beretta's so I'm pretty sure that's where their from. Also the euro gbody headlights fit in rather nice. 86-88 models have them
