wow cool u got thoes cleat headlight covers how do thoes work out for you?
i have an old ad for some slotted or fin headlight covers if anyone wants to see them just let me know and i will find it and scan it

pwdbychevy- Did you ever decide to make and sell a few sets?

I might be interested if you got a decent price on them. I know u had to make custom brackets and stuff but let me know...id prolly buy some.

I've sold quite a few sets already. I haven't sold any lately because of school and work but I can make you a set. They're $55 including shipping.

jgifford - ever have trouble keeping your covers on?? I had the same GTS set that you have.. but they flew off doing about 160km/h and flew like 100' in the air.. I never could find where they landed..

Mine did the same thing which is why I made my own. 150mph run and they're still on.

No problems what so ever. Of course, I've only topped her off at about 85 mph with the original motor. I've got them off right now. I've been tossing around a few ideas of automated Blackouts that open when the headlights turn on.

I got a set from pwdbychevy back in March I believe it was, and I love them. The only downside was the drilling into the headlight pocket, but the reassurance that comes with knowing they will never fly off made it worth it.

By the way, I see the price has gone up a little since I purchased my set...hehe. still worth the money though.

I had to raise the price a little because plywood and plexiglas are hot commodities in the great hurricane state of florida. Home Depot raised the price on me. I'm glad you like the covers Mavrick
