Firebird is gone....

Had to let go of my car today I ran out of money and at age 18 working 40 hrs a week and school just can't do. I bought the car when I was 13 with my own money. Learned alot from it and had some good times. Nice smoke shows . Smoking some v-8 cars. Car always treated me well. It still needed alot of work though. Body work, rust in floors and wells. Didn't get my money back but its okay. Starting to save for a 88-89 GTA/Trans Am. 305 TPI 5 spd or 350 7r4. And has to have T tops Can't wait. I'll still be cruising the boards though and helping out when I can. Thanks for all the help

Look at it this way "kid" when you are out in the world in your career, should you decide to purchase another thirdgen, you will have the knowledge you gained early on, and you may be the one to find a fabled "Firehawk in the barn"

Naw, I don't have a girl friend. Insurance got to be crazy and i could not keep paying it. I did it for a year and it killed me and wore me out. I got up every day at 6 a.m to go to school and then get out at 2:30 and then go to work for 3:00 then get out of work at 11. Come home and do homework for 2 hrs. Finally go to sleep at 1:30-2:00. Thats just not worth it and even then it was hard. Car needs clutch and some other work and the amount of work which it would need was too much. I could pay a sweet Formula for that much. So i let her go and will save up for another. I hope its well taken care of though. Guy let them up on test drive and wasn't to happy about that . I just hope he doesn't beat the S*** out of it.

Yeah me too. I want to be able to put nice exhuast on my car and here a deep rumble when i get out it rather then a 4 banger lol. I know thats mean, but its true. Other then that though, car was great to drive and i really enjoyed it. But overall I would rather have more power and a car thats worth a bit more later and one I will be happy with. Going to try to put away $350 a month. I think its a good start
