My IROC seems to be influencing others
My IROC seems to be influencing others
I have a mint 1987 IROC LB9 that is in great shape for the mileage---250,000 original miles on original drivetrain. Car runs like a dream.
My older buddy that I meet at car shows was planning to purchase a 68 Mustang as a project car...but looked into the prices $$$ of those things and decided that it would rum him a ton of time and money. He now has his sights on the IROC.
Same buddy e-mailed pics of my Bright Red ride to his buddy in San Diego..who also runs around in a rusty old mustang and is always talking of dropping serious coin on a restoration. NOW he too...is looking for a black IROC and seems all into it.
A dusce bag in a magnum full size truck decided to race me from a stop that vears into a one laner. Since I had the right of way.. I decided to lay down the law and dusted him by 3 car lengths till we got to the next stop where he was cussing me out and "wanting to beat me up".
What a numbrod... he isn't going to dust a TPI off the line in that tank no matter if it has a Hemi or whatever.
Crusing on the coast while going out on Sat night... a middle aged guy in a Mercedes pulls up next to me and inquires on the IROC's year and whether it's a stick or auto. Looks like he's thinking of trading in that borring sedan for a "fun car"....
__)))))IT apears that the IROC is like a drop in a pond...the ripple affect is moving outwards and influencing all that hear the FLOWMASTERS and the bright red pain and shiney IROC rims.

LOL... "The IROC Effect". It is contagious and spreading like wild fire. A few magazines have printed that mid 80's F-Body's are a hidden gem and they think its going to be the next wave of popular muscle cars.
