Engine COlor

Getting ready to paint engine and need advice. Didn't want to do the chevy orange since it is in a T/A. Originally wanted to do black with red trim since the car is red and engine bay is black. But, black makes it harder to find fuid leaks. Thought of going red to match the car and trim it out in black. Any ideas?? Getting block back this weekend so need ideas quick.

Pontiac Blue?

Pontiac blue even though it is a Chevy engine? (305)

I thought painting a Chevy engine blue might be against the rules or something ha haha Blue does sound interesting.

Thanks for the input

Yep that's the approach I went with too. I like the way the shortblock "dissappears" in the engine bay.
