well not completely but its pretty close. there are a couple of little things that im not happy with like the hood but i just have to find the time to mess around with it. its taken me about a year to get it were it is and im so happy to be able to drive it. this motor is awsome its got so much power. its just spins the tires all the time. let me know what you guys/girls think of it. the car also needs a really good cleaning inside and out. i think im going to send it out to get detailed soon.

thanks for the complements. the 434 is insane. it is deffinately worth the money. i would highly reccommend scott shafiroff to everyone. i think that the motor is streetable but it takes alittle getting used to. as far as track times, i dont think we are going to see them anytime soon. i still have the stock clutch,t-5, and 10 bolt rear. ive been taking pretty easy on it right now because i spent most of my money on the engine.this winter i want to get a 12 bolt rear and i havent decided what trans i want to go with.
Sick looking car dude. Like the two-tone? It's different I'd say. With regards to your tranny, with that much power, I suggest TKO500 or 600 5speed. Your rear end choice is dead on, but I thought I'd throw yah some thoughts about that T-5 replacement.

Love the color. the Engine bay looks awesome.. May I suggest a new coolant overflow tank to go with the shiny paint
Don't feel bad about the hood, mine fit's equally as bad with a nice gap, if you manage to figure a way to close it at all, feel free to let me know

wow...sweet lookin ride. i am currently putting together my 406, and i will be running a tremec 3550 5-speed along with a dts 12 bolt rear. i bought both last yr off ebay. the rear was a 2400 for me, the build sheet however was totalled to 3400..so just to let you know, it's not cheap. but its a nice pieces. mine has the 30 spline axles and eaton posi with 3.73 should compliment the tremec just fine. the tremec was 1000. good deals. they are out there you'll just have to find them. congrats on the car and good luck with the drive train. would be terrible to not be able to use all that power in fear of breaking...

Car looks sweet man, and im with Slayer, my hood fits like **** too! 434s are great engines i love them, my buddy had one in a pretty hefty 69 Nova and i think it run like a low to mid 6's on motor, and in the 8th of course, but anywho nice ride, and i like the wheels that is on it too!
hey bigdave, whats your 5th gear ratio? My buddy just got his tko600 with a 1:1 and he has 3.73's in the back...and NO first gear. He hates the way it is, but I'm just telling yah.

thanks alot guys.
bigdavesiroc thanks for the reccomendations on the drive line. i was looking at the 12 bolt that spohn sells. i think they are mosers. im not sure if i want to keep the manual trans or go automatic.
the paint job was done by myself. i work at a body shop so i had everything that i needed.i didnt even have to pay for materials
. so i did that whole paint job for $0.
DanTheMan_smlk i wasnt to happy about having to put a 4 inch cowl hood on the car. i think that they are way to big. but thats the hood that will close so i really had no choice. its starting to grow on me though.
i really pissed with harwood because the hood is a complete peice of crap. the nicest thing about the hood is the underside. considering the hood was$540 shipped i would expect it to be alittle better quality. i work in a body shop so i new what i was in for when i bought a glass hood. i primed and long blocked the thing 5 times before i painted it and its still not straight. i guess its just one of those things that im going to have to live with.
