Is that a Canadian model, or did you swap out the speedo for a kmH one? All the export models I thought had the break-away mirrors.

Wow, I never knew that they sold the TTA's overseas, would have thought it would have just been sold here. Guess ya learn something new everyday. But that is one clean ride, and a fun one too.

okay that's not the kind of pic you wanted, will take a better one tomorrow.
The car is bone stock, everything is original.
they never sold them over here officially, the tta's we have here are self-imports.
thank g.o.d. it's the original us/canada version with red turn lights, stock mirrors a.s.o...
the speedo shows mph as well as km/h (as far as i know, every tta has that)
it ran 65.000 mls / 104.000 km
ignition is electronic
thanks guys for your respect, the car is alot of fun to drive!

Yep, TTA did have coil packs. Although looks like somebody did something funky with throttle body coolant lines and the exhuast and up pipe is not factory, other than that its very clean.

Super clean TTA. Nice buick riviera convert parked next to it too. I had an identical 85 convert riv, till it was smashed. Two rare cars in one spot, overseas at that. Are they both yours?

Hi Matt!
Nice looking car!
I know of some people (some are friends of mine) who own these cars in England and Sweden, besides here in the states!
By chance does your car have the 20th Trans Am spark plug wires with the "20th trans Am" on them?
Got an owners kit?
Great to see other owners posting here, even better when they are overseas.
I never heard of any being sold "new" overseas, so I would think that they were all shipped over after being bought here in the states.
A nice 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Am site is:
http://www.turbotransam.com
Feel free to post over there as well!
Did you ever find out your car number (these cars have records on the build number, but to get it, you have to pay Pontiac Historical Services-they even send you a letter with the build number)?
Enjoy you toy,
George

You'll appreciate this.
Every year this Pontiac dealer in Vacaville, California has an "All Pontiac" show in their lot. It's a quaint gathering with maybe 50 cars. Last year I entered as a stock "D" which is under 4 mods. The car that beat mine was your car with a few differences. Here are my pics:
Here was my car sitting amongst some great company:
and here is the second place trophy I left with:

The difference in your car and the D winner in Vacaville that I can see are that unique shroud over the turbo. There are leikly some other subtle differences but your car looks very close. I'd love to see them together. One thing I heard about this car is that the owner ONLY brings this car to shows. That's all he does with it. That said, I was pretty happy with my car coming in after his.
In case any of you Central Valley Pontiac guys are interested, here is the flyer for the event in Vacaville this year:

Cadillac,
You are right I do cruise these message forums. It is my car. I remember your car. Nice vert! This car is one of two of my TTA's. The other is a cloth hardtop. I always go to this show.
The cover I picked up on ebay a few years ago. You can see these once in a while. The car is basically stock with 5K miles on it. The only mods are the turbo cover, the stanless air intake and dynomax muffler. I do take it out mostly to shows. Once in a while I take it out with the family or over to Sacramento Raceway for a trip down the 1/4 mile. Unfortunately between work and my kids, my time now days is their time (with all of their activities). I do love the 3rd gen cars and will always hang on to my TTA's.
Thanks for posting pictures of my car. I hope I will see you at Vacaville this year.

Nice modified car Dave!
Too bad you didn't get to park in spot 20 in the one picture of the Birds!
Isn't that a adjustable fuel regulator too?
Just messing with you!
Does my signed autograph on my front dash count as a mod?
Haven't talked with you in awhile, so I thought I'd give you some
! Ha! Just having fun!
George
P.S. You ever go to Arizona? Stop by and visit!

George,
I was bummed I did not get to part with the other Birds.
Through my research some of the TTA's got the adjustable wastegate when they were new. When you could buy one from GM, they only came adjustable.
Are you going to the Western Regional next week at Bass lake? I will be their with my Hardtop.
I am planning on going to the 2006 POCI national event in Ontario. I am going to try out the points Judging with the Hardtop rather than participating in the 3rd Gen T/A class.
Take Care,
- Dave

Hi Dave!
I didn't know about the Western Regional at Bass Lake. Uh, where is Bass Lake?
So, no I won't be making it.
As for the Nationals, I'm not even sure that I'll be bringing a car. I plan of selling stuff, like at Irvine back in '93! Only this time, I don't plan on making over 3 grand, and only bringing home 600 bucks! Although I did score that Ram Air IV block for my '70 Trans Am!
We'll see though. At least I have some time to decide.
Later,
George
P.S. I was talking about the fuel pressure regulator, not the wastegate rod!

George,
What you saw in the picture was a mounted fuel preasure gauge. I had that on to check the fuel presure. At the time I was not sure I was making correct preasure with my regulator. You can partially see the guage next to the "Up Pipe". It is mounted on the fuel rail.
Good eyes, your right it is not a stock item, but very easy to remove!
Bass Lake is near Yosemite National Park just ourside Madera near Fresno Ca.
