I don't know if anyone has molded the kit on an F-Body, but I'm also on a J-Body site (Cavs, Sunfires) and found a couple molded pics for ya... Not quite the same thing, but it'll give ya some ideas.

Those were the only decent pics I could find really quick, but I know there are other people on my JBO site that are molded. I'm actually working on molding the spoiler on my 00 Cav, and bumpers/GFX will be next (gotta get some new ones). One day, when I get a Firebird again, I'll be molding that in too b/c I like things as smooth and clean as possible

If you do that sooner or later your paint will crack. Plastic and metal expand and contract at different rates with temperature changes. I started molding my bumper but backed down because i dont want to have to have it repainted again and again.

That is what I am afraid of too. If not I would do it right away. Definetly looks bad *** though. Maybe when I am out of school and have more $ and dont care if it needs a repaint.

yea i think that would crack sooo easily. IMO i dont really like that look. the crack betweet the two "breaks" up the side body. molded would look too smooth and would need somthing to "break" up the side view.

He hasn't been around here lately, which is a shame, but scauffiel tried it on his Firebird back in the day and it cracked.

Scauffiel tried everything to blend is body lines, but everything cracked as I understood it. That included some glue that they use to cement chunks of cement together or something crazy like that. Saw the car back in 2001, quite the project...

Bonofasitch!! lol. That was me I sent ya an e-mail back yesterday w/ an offer. I'd really like to be spending money on a Firebird, but that would cost a lot more than the Cav (b/c I need to find & buy a F'Bird first), and I don't have driveway/garage space for it I'm guessing that Borsty is on this site too? With his T/A...
