Shaving the Antenna

I'd like to shave the antenna on my Z....I have heard about the Untenna (I think it was) but have not really heard anything about it though. Anybody know anything about this? How well does it work? Anything at all?

I was reading in the CAMARO special edition of Super Chevy five minutes ago. Looking at the sourcs for thier camaro "silver streak" they listed:
Custom Autosound in Anaheim, CA for getting a hidden stereo antenna. Phone number 1-800-888-8637.

It looks nice with no antenna.

Later,
Jesse

I didn't even notice the shaved antenna on the "Silver Streak". Thanks for the info buddy, I appreciate it. I guess I should have read more closely.

I didn't see it until I read the sources. I was just bored and wanted to see what suppliers that they used and came across the antenna.

Later,
Jesse

Heh, is that a Knight Rider light thingy strobe on the nose of your car? It looks sweet! Mean looking car.

Dakota Digital offers a remote mount antenna that you can mount behind the dash of your car. Summit sells it. It used to be about 60 bucks. There very popular with street rodders.

umm, about my shaving on my car...did the antenna, the front turn signals, the keyholes on the doors NOT the handles, and the pontiac indentation on the rear bumper...I added a pretty big wing to the car since it didn't look right with the stock wing and while most people might call my wing *****, i've gotten alot of compliments from other third genners and most people say my car resembles a tank now. About the scaner light in the front, yes it's exactly like the one from knight rider...it's not the cheesey J.C. Whitney one either. You can find more info abou the light here: http://www.markscustomkits.com

I haven't had time to check out the place in anaheim yet but hopefully i'll have time this week. Heh, i really need to get my interior redone and that antenna cause my "cow spots" look with primer and paint just isn't doing it for me. Here's another picture of the car at night..
