My '92 RS (just bought)

I bought this car about 3 months ago for $2000, it's a '92 RS Camaro 305 tbi automatic pwr windows and locks.
It has 114000 miles on it and it runs great, no oil use at all.
EDIT---MODS---

Mods I have done so far;
Rebuilt 700r4 w/shift kit and Corvette servo & it's own oil cooler behind the front grille.
Eibach sportline springs.
New (cheapo) shocks & struts.
Spohn adjustable panhard bar.
Spohn lower control arms.
Spohn front and rear sway bar w/ end links.
Poly front a arm bushings.
Edelbrock Headers.
Eaton Limited Slip.
3.73 Gear.
3" no cat w/ Flowmaster and 18x3" chrome tips.
Cool fan switch w/160 thermostat.
17" chrome Iroc wheels wrap in z rated rubber (245 40 17).

I need new seats, thats about it everything else seems to be in pretty good shape.
I have the Z28 spoiler/hood scoops and a new dash pad.
I'll post more pics after the paint is done.

Very nice car. If you live where there is a no fron plate law get a Z28 bowtie grill. Unless you really like that one of course. I just have never like those grilles. That color is very nice whats it called, I have a truck I would like to paint purple. The chrome Irocs look just wicked with that purple.

I have the fogs lights and Z28 grille in hand, that's my finishing touch after paint.
As for the paint, it was painted about 2 years ago and is more red than purple, the light (or lack of) makes it look purple.
I can't wait to get the Z28 sploiler and SS hood on it!

I would leave that spoiler or go with a 5 inch. I have always loved the look of a RS.

Why does no one like the RS grill? I think it makes it more flush and have smoother lines.

That looks pretty sweet. Make sure you check the classified boards on this site for some good deals on the dash and seats you need. And do you mean Spohn adjustable panhard bar?

Drive safe, and enjoy it. They're a blast!

Nice taste.

The same doesn't apply to your taste in football teams.

Righteous RS. Those chrome rims are a knockout! Great deal for 2 Grand. Also, I think you meant to type in "Spohn" not "Spoon".
Maybe you meant spoon cause your servin it up hot. Go Raiders!

Nice ride!! Great deal too. Ive got one that color too, but with the six. I'll bet it looks real good in that SC sun

It's been a long time since I've been down that way. Last time I was there was with the Navy when there was still a fully operational Naval Station. I heard they've pretty much shut down now.

Wow that thing is beautiful. I still regret not holding out for t-tops, and a 5-speed or TPI 350 but I got my bird for $1400 with 120k and brand new paint so I can't complain either. I still envy you though since that looks so sweet with those chrome rims now.

I was originally going to pay 1800 for mine but the fan died when i took it for a final test drive the day I went to pick it up. Had to drive back up a few days later to get it. The guy replaced the thermostat and the fan but ended up wiring the fan to acc anyway. I heard the alternator starting to whine so I knew that would be going soon as well... well it died on the 50 mile drive home and the battery ran out of juice a block from my house . Fixed that and it has been good to me since. Thats the second deal I've gotten on an f-body too. I got my 87 formula back 7 or 8 years ago on a trade even up for an 89 celebrity eurosport (I paid a little over 1200 for) with similar mileage. I regretted getting rid of that thing so much until I found this one.

Just a suggestion, but while at the new paint deal, the body lines would be a lot smoother with out the whole grandma-like sidemarker deal. I pulled mine off when I got my RS. Car looks absolutely amazing though, those rims definitely do pull that car together. Good job man!!!
