Let's see or here those Fantasy Mods
Let’s see or here all the fantasy mods that everyone talks about but never do anything about. I have plans to build another 3rd gen that has all the (man that looks good) mods. I have already started working on the Japanese hood and next will be working on some sort of fender vents. I’m looking for ideas. This will be a long build and I need to work out my mod list.

My only fantasy mod nowadays would be the K1 Evo II kit. Fantasy now since they dont make it anymore. I really liked that kit because it had the GT feel I like so much as well as some Exotic Car kind of style. Best of all it was built around the 3rd gen F-Body platform, which I like very much. I never thought any picture of the kit from K1 really did it justice. I think with the right wheels, stance, paint, interior and engine/drivetrain it would be an absolute monster that could win car shows as well as track events. I'll always regret not being able to get one when they were still making them, just couldnt afford it at the time. I'm not losing any sleep over it though, moving on to different ideas ...

The last I heard about a month ago is that K-1 themselves still had one body left for sale. Just incase your interested.

A supercharged TBI F-body. It's possible and has been discussed a few hundred times over the years, but noone has ever done it.

where did you find those pictures?
the japanese hood is done on my car but won't be available til spring. vents are a no go for me but the hinges are also done and i don't like them, anyone looking email me as i'll sell them cheap.
navigation is in my car, take it or leave it but i love my avn-5495 as the hdd is great!
19x10's work great but are heavy, stick to 18's on a thirdgen reguardless of power they just feel better.
fiberglass interior is nice but no matter how much you try it's heavy. great on the wow factor and it helps with magazines but it can be hard to maintain, costs a fortune and it's overall annoying.
drivetrains.. honestly an lsx that has forced induction is undbelievable in our cars. great power and unbelievable reliability and gas mileage.. sbc gen I, never again.
pictures soon, but not soon enough.

other then the fin..... i love it . i REALY LOVE the original looks of our cars, but WOW. only way to tell it's a thirdgen is the windshield/roof. insane.
The other one he has looks better in my opinion, forget the website. When I saw it I was all sick. If I had one I would definately run 18's or 19's and have the offset perfect so it would be slammed and tucked. Those kits were between 5 and 8 thousand dollars and the install requires fabrication. High up there on my wish list but not very reasonable as far as the costs so it never happened. You could buy another 3rd gen and then some for the price of the kit.

just 3? lol I've already cut my hood just need to find some kind of mesh or screen to put around where it's open. Nothing as fabulous or fiberglass like evo's i used a stock flat hood and customized it a little. As far as Fantasy mods I don't think there's anything I want done to my car that can't already be done. stiff air ride suspension, turbocharged LSx, t-56 to handle the power, 12 bolt rear, 25 mpg or within there, ability to run 10's, and reliable enough to be my daily driver. its all a possibilty just depends on how much money your willing to spend.

The evo in the pics was for sale the last time I saw him. He wanted $24,000 for it. If your interested I could get you the number. I think he may have supercharger it. I'm not sure but it did sound different when he was over the last time.
