Personally, I think clear tail lights are for rice-mobiles. Just my .02

If you have a Firebird and want clear tail lights and partial option would be to take a pair of TA tail lights apart and take the red stuff out of it.... they would be clear

Why would you want to rice a Camaro? I couldn't even imagine how stupid clear taillights would look on a Camaro or Firebird.

okay, we've established only a select few like the idea of clear taillights. Now a question about the front parking/signal lights. Does anyone know if they're the same size on the fronts with and without GFX, more specifically I found some on an 91 or 92 RS in the junkyard and I'm wonderin if they're the same size as the ones in my 86 w/o GFX. I know when they changed the front bumper covers in 85 they changed these radically, but did the further appearance changes between then and the 91-92 change the size of these bulb housings? Thanks in advance!

I was just asking about the tail lights. My main question was about the parking/turn signal lights.

Do you mean "clear" front parking lamp assemblies like mine?

<IMG SRC = "http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1427158&a=10788180&p=37204592&Sequence=0&res=high">

If you want ones like these, click on the link in my signature and follow another link on my home page called "Custom DRL's" that leads to instructions on how I modified stock assemblies. Not only have I modified the lamps, but I also have parking lamp DRL's.

I made my own. I also filled my side markers and am using Audi markers in my fenders. I made my own clear T/A taillights, which I will gladly show to you this spring...

MetallicCamaroRS, I'm curious too, how did you get your taillights to be all red like that. I think it looks pretty good myself.

I dropped the guy an e-mail using the link provided. I inquired about the origin of the all red tailights and have heard nothing back. Does anyone know where to purchase all red tailights for 3rd gen Camaros?

All red is illegal. You'd have to leave the reverse lights white. You could do the orange though...

You can kinda see in this pic that the tail lights on my RS are tinted dark. Looks better than clear IMHO.

Well im sure my all black tails arent legal either...besides you could just use the transparent red model spray paint so that the white would still shine through...just like it does on my blacked out tails.

FYI
Here is the e-mail response I got from the owner of the Z with red tails.

Thanks for the compliment! The taillights are the original Z lights. I
just spray painted them with the same colour candy paint as the rest of the
car. Because candy is transluscent, you can see through it.

ok....clear tail lights = rice....man i saw a 3rd gen the other day with those Lexus IS400 lights....clear with silver...and red dots in it. like all the ricers have these days. i was THIS close to bustin a U and chasin him down and beat his *** . anyways...the front turn signals can be clear by puttin in a clear bulb. the bulb is orange not the lens. atleast on my car it is. later

You can have all red tailights.....Just as long as you have WHITE REVERSE LIGHTS somewhere on the back of the car. Convert you third brake light to clear.... Candy apple red from pep boys can make a nice smooth tailight red, just don't spray in one place too long..RUNS!!ahghgh

That is my new favorite camaro. It is my dream car to have a mean z like that. Except I'd like to have a 2.5" cowl hood and different wheels. The whole chrome parts in the engine bay was done so well. I just couldn't justify spending that kind of money on chrome. I'm a budget kind of guy (reason I bought a camaro), bang for the buck and then some. Wow, I just can't get over how good that car looks.
