Cheap and easy appearance helper

I think everyone needs to hit they're wheel wells with some nice black paint, mine were disgusting and since i am showing at the rocky mountain rod and custom show(only the biggest indoor show in colorado) i needed to look good, also painted drums, waxing her tommorrow, vacuuming then it gets off the jack stands to take it to move in on tuesday, at the show complex till sunday night and then it goes back up on the stands for the airride install

The painted brakes are just a quick fix until i get some big ones to fill out the 18's that are coming

looks like undercoating but really really shiny, hopefully you hit it with some satin or semi-gloss and it's just reflecting off the flash on the camera, i have to do my car sometime this winter as well, even though it's not too bad yet, still is an eyesore.

Your car is coming along great man, I like how you're addressing every area of the car. I really look forward to see some updated pics soon.

^^^^^^^^^^^^What he said. Great car. It sure is coming along great. I can't wait to see it with the air rides.

P.S. what did you use to paint it?

Looks great but just curious...do you guys use the plastic part of the well or just removed those...i dunno what would look better...i think i remember i needed to keep it from a lot of stuff getting in the fenderwells but its not on in ur picture. Did you paint that also or you just not use those?

I have them off i figured id be easier to paint em seperate than risk accidently hitting the fender since its right there, If you take em off you can actually get crap up into the engine compartment, in a rain storm it might get messy, plus you have a bunch of crap hidden up there so it looks better with em on....

I used rustoleum, brushed it on so i didnt get crap everywhere since its in the garage with the 34

Looks good, but does that paint have any sort of protective properties?? I guess it depends on if you drive your car alot though (dont know if you do drive it alot, or if its a garage queen).

When i first got my car i sprayed all new 3M rubberized undercoating in the wheel wells and it looked great...even though now its all dull.

I did that to mine after I painted the car (red wheel wells look horrible) and I was surprised to see the difference.

heh...when i pulled off the passenger side plastic wheel well on my gf's RS...i found a hole and some carpet above it

rust sucks.

I really need to get time to por15 my car got the stuff right here...i think ill just spray over the factory undercoating with regualar black spray paint i did a minor job when i got the car. I should really take my time pull off the wheels and shoot it all really nice.
