polished snypers

before people jump down my throat, yes I searched and can't find any pictures of this. from what I understand these wheels have a machined face and lip and come clear coated. I remember seeing a picture of a BMW with chrome snypers and liked the look, but not really a chrome person. someone has to have polished a set of these wheels as there are a lot of people running them. a close up shot of a 17" version of this wheel would be nice. thanks

The wheel does indeed have a polished surface with clear coat. it is not a true polished look though and nothing like a truly polished billet wheel. The inside surfaces of the spokes are painted a light gray and also are clear coated. You could polish them but it would take a lot of elbow grease and future maintenance.

Don't get me wrong though. I love these wheels and they complement the 3rd gen style better than most wheels out there.

I would really like to see a set of snypers mirror polished. I know the machined faces are pretty shiny but what I was really hoping to see was a set someone polished

Each time I see those wheels .. yup gotta love the pure simplicity of them, maybe it's because compared to bmw mesh wheels and corvette wheels they look nekkid

Is it just my imagination, or are the spokes actually more straight lined, i.e. more pendecular (sp?) to the surface than other wheels with five or six spokes ? That's what I like, the clean lines. A lot of rims look real nice and fance, but on the actual car .. naaaahhh

Although I've seen one set of rims that reminds me of a black widow
