late model S-10 wheels
Any one ever seen these wheels on a maro? I think they would look good, I also think our center caps will go on them?
Anyone know the size/ backspacing?

I've always wondered what these would look like..

(Sorry, that's the best pic of them I can find at the moment. They're the slightly swirly ones..?)

twysted 87 has some other s10 rims. they look awesome, very close to the "swirly ones" but straight.
but with the bowtie centercaps (or arrowhead if you got a bird)

I had those last ones on my T/A for about a week. I borrowed them from a friend to make use of the Nitto Drag Radials that were on them. they looked pretty cool on my T/A actually. No spacers are required for them, but they did stick out a little more than my crosslace rims do. It was noticable from behind. They're the same 8" width.

I saw a set of those S-10 wheels on a truck down the street one time, and was wondering if they came on that truck from the factory, and if that bowtie center cap would fit my wheels. Well this thread answered a lot of questions. Wonder how it would look on my car...

Although I believe their are bowtie caps on the later model Impala wheels that fit the 91-92 wheels.

Anyhow I had S-10 rims just like that on my 88 CAMARO--they were off a S-10 so threy had the Chevy bowtie centre cap.
These rims are 4 fronts though. The rear stuck out a tiny bit but looked good.

Are the S10 rims that are clones of the 91 92 "anniversary" rims 16X8? As for the Impala center caps fitting the maro rims, my dad has a 2k Impala so I'll find out in a minute here for you guys

I think those Xtreme wheels would look good if they would polish up... Anybody know if you can polish those out?
I'm glad I found this thread
I think I'll be shopping around for S10 wheels to polish up

other than the fact that maro with the extreme wheels needs a drop and the rims stick out a little too far i like the extreme wheels on thirdgens.

OK, the early s-10 rims are just the same as the 16x8 anniversary rims that I yanked off mine and still have sitting out at my painters after 5 months. The xtreme wheel would only look good painted black/ dark grey with a highly polished lip because it does have a pretty nice lip. The good thing about people wanting to do these swaps is that they bolt up without spacers. yah know those SLP ZR1 style rims? They bolt right on the s-10's too. Altogether though....I couldn't stand knowing I have truck wheels on my RS. It would just feel creepy.
