Anyone like the old '30s style hot rods?

I've been toying with and idea for a new type of hot rod with those style cues, fenders, wheels pushed to the front of the car. I've been looking at using a '87-'95 Jeep wrangler frame $300, '76+ body $250-$500, '97+ front end $???, windshield and cowl. It would have to have a v8 though. I think a 305 TBI would be perfect, the Jeep 5 speed would live behind it, lots of unloved still good 305s around. am I crazy?

what all is needed to put TBI in a car that doesn't have it? O2 sensors? knock sensors? how much would the this be?

I love 'em. I'm currently building a '34 Ford Coupe. I mean building everything. The only thing I haven't handbuilt was the body itself. The last thing I finished was the custom power brake system which connects Toyota Supra pedals to a Corvette booster/master cylinder mounted sideways inside the car (no room on the firewall on a 34 for power brakes) via a helicopter bell-crank system I designed.
I also designed and built the suspension using a few cues from my Camaros, but this one is a radius rod setup, four coil-springs, and short panhard bar.
When I build my 23 shortbed it'll have a 305 with either TBI or carb.
They're really fun to drive and build, but take a lot of time, ingenuity and money.
