Finally got some tint - pics inside

I got my windows tinted today, 35% all around (and the factory tint). So its a little darker than 35. I like the way it came out, i am very pleased with the way it looks now. I think i am finally finished with the outside appearance of the car, which kind of makes me wonder what i should do next??

Plus i got to play around with the new camera, Canon SD400. I cant wait to get some pics outside!

Heres the previous fish-bowl look >>

And here it is after the tint, sorry for the OK pictures

Looks even more amazing!!!!!! I have 32% on my side and 22% on my hatch and i love it. Anyway, good direction to go with the car, as tint on 3rd gens really is a must

i like that you tinted it , but i hate that its so light , but its your car, i dont think that you will be happy when you get it outside in the sun . I think you will see how light it is . But it does look better with the tint , i just wish you went darker , i think you will wish you did .

I had thought of going darker, but i really dont need the extra hassle from the cops, so far they like me Plus i do alot of night driving and i just didn't find it very practical at all.

Total cost of the job was $150, and he came to my house.

Do you have any little air bubbles anywhere?

I have a few on my side windows. Kinda pissed me off because i had it professionaly done at a reputable place, but they're barely noticable. I really hate the fact that it peeled slightly off the top corner of the hatch. I took it back TWICE to get it fixed under the warrranty but *** dammit they need to use more adhesive or something and im not goin back there again. Its in center city and every time i drive my car there i almost get a heart attack--bottoms out everywhere and NARROW city streets with cars opening their F***ing doors all over the place. I think i might just pay another tint shop like wahtever $20 to fix it.

No bubbles at all, anywhere. Im very happy with the job. The guy who did it is a professional, and usually tints for dealerships and other places that charge upwards of $250. so essentially i saved myself 100 bucks by going straight to him

Look like slicks to me, however I belive Summit sells street tires by Hoosier and M/T.

Edit: Yup.

The tint looks good. I love how you have a track car theme going on while still maintaning its rep as one of the most prestine looking cars here on the boards.

Tunedport355,

I must honestly say that before the tint your car was just very good looking to me, but with the tint IMO it really completes the car, fantastic.

I also think that any darker tint wouldn't look as good as the shade that is on there now. That tint doesn't look cheesy like some of the tint jobs I have seen in the past.

congradulations.

IMO any tint is better than no tint. Tint will turn purple if you use cleaners with amonia on the inside of the glass over time.

I usually agree with 18inchboyds because I have/love the 5% look but the 35% looks great on your car.

Love the car... tint really completes the look. I think you made a wise decision going with the 35% - the last thing we need is another reason to get pulled over. 3 days after I got mine done I got nailed with a $107 ticket, but I have 5% tint.

Wow i cant beleive this got brought back up... yeah the car looks a little different now. I havent been on this board in several months because life has been crazy.

Slowly building up parts for a hot-cammed LT1 and T56 swap. Maybe by next spring it will be done
