good to see alot of custom thought going into it
i'm doing as much as i can on it. i use to work at a shop, i no longer do that as the days are too long. I put in roughly 30 hours a week with the car so i get in what i can, not enough time in the day though to make it the way i want. i should have somewhere around 500 hours into it just myself when it's ready.

Nice to see some updates on your car Kandied, I'm sure like it's previous look, it will be very sick.
I have to ask, are you sticking with those 19"s?

has a thirdgen ever been featured in SEMA?...Im guessing no, since your 92 is boasting quite the list of sponsors
.....this means pics are due up here pretty quick riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight?
...assuming you are talking about the spring show and not the one in Oct. Last edited by Camaroguy18; Apr 5, 2006 at 03:11 PM.
some reason the quick reply isn't working.
yes oct31 is the date.
as far as a new hood, things are in the works. i will remain to keep quiet about it until i have something to show but i have no idea how long it will take for the molds to be mass produced after i'm done and i don't foresee finishing til may.

Sounds like gonna have to spend vacation at sema. This year it would seem right being a sweet third gen in the mix too.
Just a thought off the top of my head an though you might have an idea with your resources. Can a mini tub like DSE makes for the '69s be used in a third gen app. It would be cool to stuff 335's, and not look like a roller skate.

Hey Jeff!
Dang I haven't seen you in years on here. We were going to meet at Detoit for the Autorama. I somehow missed you. I was there all weekend with George Barris and Butch Patrick by the Batmobile, Munsters Coach, and we unvailed the Shark Attack car.
Wow, had no idea you were doing all that. Will you be at the Camaro Superfest this year. Is it worth going? Hit me up online sometime Shawn18jgr.
I will be at SEMA in October.

boy i'd like to know where you got carbon fiber. I can't find any anywhere that isn't a hybrid, or that cost's an arm and a leg. I've already made a couple molds of parts I want to make but alas no carbon fiber.

Yeah, if anyone has a source for carbon firber, I would love to know. Even carbon/kevlar hybrids are getting pretty hard to find/expensive. Really, you best bet right now, is some of the aerospace fiberglass (S2) or kevlar. The carbon fiber shortage really sucks.
i have to go over seas and at this time it's running $3500 a roll. roughly $4-500 a pannel it's costing me. my interior has 18 pannel sections so it's taking some time.
