what wheels would look good on this?
hey guys, im new here both on this website and to the f-body scene, mostly i've owned nothing but fox body mustangs, but due to a shortage of them around here, i got stuck with this lol.
its a 91 trans am with the ws6 option, a 350, and (of course) AT.
heres a link to the pics:http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=606156
my questio is, what rims would look the best on this?
i dont plan on modding the hell out of it, mabye just exaust and a few other necesary things, so im not realy looking for drag lites or anything like that. but i would just like to have some suggestions.
thank you, and i hope to learn a lot about these cars in the future.

Welcome!
First things are usually headers/catback system. Second would be something to make it breath a little better. Air Intake, porting TPI etc...
EDIT: Yeah I didn't even answer you're question, lol! I would choose the GTA crosslace rims that are on the car. There isn't many rims out there, that arn't an arm and leg to get, that look good on these cars. You're old mustang had something similar.

I just put a deposit on a black '92 T/A WS6 350...we're now 'Birds of a feather...
I happen to like the stock black lace wheels on a black car, but if you want a change, how about the Firehawk style wheels in this thread:
https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...irehawk+wheels
I also think a set of Torq Thrust IIs would look cool, although they are getting a bit ubiquitous, which can be a pain if you want to be original.

The GTA crosslace rims are very lightweight, they're considered to be one of the finer stock rims offered on thirdgens, and they're fairly sought-after. Yours look to be in excellent condition, so I'd say... keep 'em!

hey man, when I first read your post and checked out your site...I didnt think the car would be so downright sexy. Good grab on that one.
Those rims do the job just fine in my opinion.
No matter how much you were "stuck with" that car, it's a nice car to be stuck with.

Your stock wheels have zero offset(front) and 16mm offset(rear), while 4thgen wheels have, like, a 52mm or 56mm offset.
'Search' and you should find pix of 4thgen wheels on thirdgens, as well as get an idea of what size adapters will be needed.
But be prepared to pretty-up your brake calipers.
Welcome to this site!
Nice TA!!! Its a beauty! Great deal too...Mustangs are cool but ths car will definitly turn more heads...
As far as wheels go those look great on there. I would love to see that like it is with some Eibach sportlines springs on there.
Beautiful car again just keep it clean! Post some pics of the inside and engine.
