Im not sure if this the correct board to post this. My question is...What color would you paint your 350? Any suggestions? Pictures perhaps? How much was the paint and how much did you use? Thanks

 

black or orange.... or possibly grey, but personally black

 

Hard to beat a black block with chrome/polished aluminum accessories.

 

this goes back to the days of old when they had seperate powertrains for each division, but id paint the block pontiac engine blue if its a pontiac, and orange if its a gm. i personally dont like the black because just about every engine block comes from the factory black...

 

Black. Brand-specific motors were already long gone before thirdgens hit the scene. All of the V8s were chevy motors, and were painted black. Putting a Chevy orange motor into a thirdgen is like putting a flathead ford motor into a Foxbody mustang. It might be a nice throwback, but it doesn't really make a lot of sense.

 

I was thinking something like Chevy RED or something else other than blue, I don't know I still can't make up my mind. I wish people could post some pics of there blocks.

 

Chevy Orange, best color out there

 

Since you mentioned red here are the last couple I have done....no comments about the fram filter it was just on as a dust cover lol........the one in the camaro is all the aluminum color

 

i think red looks good on red, black or white colored cars!!

i painted mine the color of my car, which is sunset orange mettalic. im a big fan of painting the block the color if the car.
