I wonder who buys a car, and then doesn't drive it!

5,100 miles... This is still a new car!

I like this statement from the ad.

Plus these options not on the standard GTA's; T-Tops, Digital Dash, Hydraulic Articulating Front Seats, and the factory Theft deterrent system!
Someone needs to research what they are selling better.

Epro, there are planty of collectors who buy a car only to put it into storage for sale at a later date.

Those floormats look like aftermarket versions.

That CB radio mounted on the driver's side underdash has to go. Especially since there's no antenna for it.

That close-up photo of the fender badge shows the quality of the Van Nuys paint job.

It's great to have money, I'll let you know when I have some.

Thanks, thanks a lot Now I need to wash my laundry all over again!!

Damn is that gorgeous!! And Jade Grey - about no antenna for the CB, it could be a magnetic one maybe. Too much "Smoky & The Bandit" for that guy j/k ... Or maybe it's one of the CB radios that has a "cop PA" on it - for his KITT voice

For the digital dash, I wouldn't believe it really was such a low mileage vehicle except that it looks new...

Fun Thing To Do #81:

1.) Roll up the windows and crank on the oxygen bar.
2.) Wait 5 minutes. Roll down windows
3.) Light the flamethrowers in your tailpipe...

That's a display panel for a remote mounted radar detector.

looks as if to be re-painted, a lot of orange peel on the gta badge picture, and if you look closely at the catalyst sticker under the hood you can see masking top left corner

must be a transplant or aftermarket t tops.. no t-tops with 350 in 88. also looks like after market notchback, And no way the paint has held up that well... Mine has never ben outside, over night (till last 4 months). And only has 50k miles.. and the clear is totally shot. T think there must be more to the story than we are getting here...

I don't know why so many people think you couldn't have a 350 with t-tops from the factory in 1988. I had an '88 formula with t-tops and an original 350, it was my parts car for my 84 T/A. And that car looks like it's all original to me (including the t-tops and notchback), except for the CB radio and those other little gadgets. I'd kill for those front seats and door panels :-)

91/92 were the only years u couldnt get t-tops with the 350, except for the formula for some weird reason.

Why does it look aftermarket? My originally equipped Notchbacks have the same appearance as this one on eBay, and mine are real, not aftermarket, with documents to support it.

I cannot see anything to tell that it was changed or that it is an aftermarket, the lid itself looks OEM, like mine and all others I've seen.

Looking at it again, I did notice a flaw in the lid. Since the lid is fiberglass, and whitish, it seems to me there is a section of paint missing. That is a common spot that I've seen on Notchbacks.

that looks like a reflection to me. And i still don't see what people are talking about with the t-tops. I only see the small metal trim that came on some year t-tops and not others. looks very original to me.

That is pretty low miles. Saw a GNX the other day on ebay with 500 original miles, yeah 500 no typo. It brought somewhere in the $70,000 range. Now that is a car, I don't know how you couldn't drive.

Yea i dont see how you could not drive a car, unless it was broke. I mean a car was meant to be driven, not parked and wiped with a diaper.

I would say 70,000 is a good reason not to drive a car that was priginally bought for a fraction of the price

You could be right, but that section looks dull to be a reflection. Plus, that appears to be a common spot (atleast from what I've seen) for those notchback lids to start peeling paint off. 2 of my 3 have started to do that as well.
