I am repainting my camaro this summer and I have a paint job in my head but am wondering if anyone has done it and could send me some pics. I am looking for gloss black with white racing stripes. It sounds common but I have searched for months and have found very few. If I could get a few more pics It would help me make my decision. Or I am open to other suggestions of course. Thanks all, you guys are great!!

 

Hmm...I dunno how I feel about black and white. I think all the black cars I've seen with stripes were silver. I guess I gotta take a peek at white on black too. I really like blue with white, and red with white, or white with black, or white with blue, etc. But black and white stripes, hm, I dunno.

I think Black w/ white stripes is very nice. I have no issues with that at all.

However, why not consider doing an American Racing Team - International Colors - of White with the Blue stripes?

I love that. You don't see them that often anymore.

Unfortunately the car has been down for nearly two months. The transmission is shot. However, since I now have recieved all the parts for the rebuild, it should hopefully be up and running again by the end of next week. The interior is coming along at a slow but steady pace. I just finished sanding down some aluminum gauge overlays and I recieved a very special part yesterday via fedex. It's going to take some time and effort but I can say pretty confidently that no one has this in a thirdgen camaro or bird. Later, Josh...
