looking at your past posts, you seem to average up near 9 posts a day - with a few exceptions. For the length of time you've been posting here, perhaps you should take a break. Gotta remember to devote time to the car too
In all seriousness though, posting on forums can be addicting. I try to read alot more than I post, saving what I have to say until it matters the most. It's not so important that you're always on and around - but that when you are it's important and helpful to someone looking for an answer.
Whenever you do get the clear side markers, take some pics at night. I haven't seen many of those pictures.

i'm just a college student stuck in a small county of 30,xxx when i am born and raised in a city of 300,000
i'm bored here...and the reason for my leaving is not because i ran out of things to say, it's becuase some ppl on here are ****'s and i've found bigger and better things where ppl can just shoot the s*** it doesn't HAVE to be tech related. which is much better IMO
to each his own tho, i'll see you guys on the road

Seems like a majority of your posts are on the Appearance forum, which isn't a bad thing, you just have to remember that this area of the site is more opinionated than it is technical. A majority of the topics regard opion on what looks good or not or to show off a cool new addition to member's cars. Very small percentage of the topics on this forum regard how-to's or anything of that sort. Naturally this results in comments and opinions flying all over the place and naturally not everyone will agree. Personally I take the negative comments with a grain of salt and politely try to voice why I disagree. Don't let other member's prevent you having a good time and enjoying the site.
I was hoping you'd get clear markers, they will really clean up the look of your 'vert!

I don't think he meant members making him mad as in members talking crap or anything.
I think he was referring to the terribly difficult to follow rules we have here and those **** jerks who enforce them.
If he thinks its bad now, he would have hated it when we were actually strict (before people began crying)
...but I could be wrong

and i'm not saying this is a bad site by any means. it's a great site for information on our cars.yea sure i usually post in the appearance section but that's because that's the only help i need with my car right now cuz i dont necessarily have enough money to be doing anything else with it...
i'm just saying that i have found z28.com to sund it me better for most topics, i'll still be around here every so often but other than me needing an answer on something i think most anything else will be satisfied on another board

If you don't know the whole story, don't bring it up on the boards please.
And in case you're wondering, the edit on your post that I've quoted was a mistake. I hit the edit button rather than quote the first time. I don't think anything was changed.

Hate to see you go man. I love this site cause when i get on it i don't come here to see boobies or talk about anything but cars, i figure thats what its for. But i understand the want to talk to other car guys about random stuff but thats what my friends are for. I think those clear markers are going to make it look so much better. Good luck with your car.

I feel ya man. Sometimes you need a break from this place. I was called a "postwhore" b4.. Me and few ppl gave lot ppl crap and they complained to the mods about us. I Was banned from tgo for like a day or two. Tell you truth most my post are appearance/history/street racing. I dont post much on the ECM/prom/TPI boards cuz i really dont need to. My 3rd gen is low mileage in perfect running condition and i really didnt mod it.. So i really dont know what to say. Maybe once awhile i'll chime in a thread and try to help. I used to post like 11 post per day. Now it dropped down to 6. I dont post much here often anymore.
Anyways back on topic. I think your clear marker lights will look okay. Tell you the truth i like them best on darker cars (black) But your vert is really clean a nice i think it will look good. Sometimes when i look at clear markers, i kinda think of it as a cheap pep boy mod. I like the stock ones though. Lot ppl on here seem not to like it. I have no idea why, but we all have diffrent taste. I had a thread awhile ago asking if i should go for the clears. I said yes one day and no the other. I guess i made my choice for good and said no.

I dunno, I personally dont dig our side markers in general, clear or stock. I hope you enjoy them though.
As for the website, I personally think this is the best one regardless if you like everyone here or not. I figure, with a comunity this big there are bound to be some disagreements. But the rules aren't hard to follow, and the tech only atmosphere makes the website much more usefull. If you think its bad now I dunno what to say. From what I've seen people are MUCH MUCH more respectfull these days which is something I like. I never expected everyone to agree on everything but at one point in time these boards were filled with insults and flame wars. Nowadays its much better.

Wow with only 7 posts thats a bad thing to say to a guy that has an amazing car (BlueZee28). So if you dont have anything useful to say don't even bother I vote for banning him....
On another note I think the sidemarkers will look very well on your car, but I also love the stock side markers. If I could get clear front and rear side markers I would get them for my bird but I don't think we can yet. Goodluck sorry to see you go!!

Well, I for one wish I could be a bit more active on this site. I'm eighteen and entirely new to third generation camaros, and actually, wont even be getting my third gen. until the 18th of this month. But, all the same, it's certainly been very exciting for me and I always come here and usually do not post, but instead read what everyone else has to say. There are a lot of knowledgeable people that belong to these boards and they have a lot to offer. Bluezee is a person I've come to see quite often. I'm very familiar with his name, as he is very active in the appearance threads, and his posts never stood out as unecessary. I've seen posts that certainly are, and those don't inlcude his.
It seems to me that, through Bluezee's presence here, he's gained a bit of a personal relationship with the the entire thread, and posts accordingly. Nine posts a day isn't necessarily overwhelmingly frequent, and I'm willing to bet that very few of his posts have been deemed worthless. I'm sure they always hold some sort of merit to them.
However, it seems he is not too thrilled about the way the website is organized. Personally, I think the moderators here are great, as they never fail to hold strong to how they believe this site should be maintained. I respect that and think they do a great job being firm, and yet very open-minded and understanding. Each one of them will be assertive at times, but I'm sure that in the unfortunate occasion that I had a problem, I would feel very comfortable addressing them about it. This is a very large site with many people, and they do well to quell any problems, but still manage to be everyones friend. Bluezee will just have to accept the way this organization is run, which he has, and find himself comfortable elsewhere, which he has.
You have a sexy car. Don't let everyone who's jumping on the "I get to be sarcastic towards Bluezee because other people are doing it so that means it's okay" bandwagon get to you. Keep doing your thing man, as long as it stays within the expectation of the organization.
So with all that, comes the request: Can someone, offhandedly explain to me what clearmarkers are.

Dan the man is ur freind? Im glad the ****** got banned, and im glad i contributed to it. He was cocky and thought the only right way to something was his way or his opinion. Getting banned for no reason? Thats a joke. Most the members here hated him and had a problem with him like myself and were all glad he is gone. Since ur freinds with him tell him to drop me an IM sometime id enjoy it, i think he blocked me lol.
Also ive never really had a problem with you other then sometimes u cant take critcism which ive observed. Thanks for letting us know ur getting clear corners...i know u just wanted to express yourself without getting ur thread locked so u had to include the sidemarkers...
Once again i agree on a lot of things u want with this board but they wont happen and were just gonna have to deal with it, its a tech site oh well. Ill stay here still.

"clearmarkers" are clear side markers (the turn signals on the very front and very rear sides of the car that are normally red or yellow in color).

Steve, i only know Dan thru the different sites i talk to him on, and on AIM. i dont PERSONALLY know him, so i guess i can't take what he says about WHY he got banned to be 100% true. so i take back what i say about him getting banned for no reason...b/c i cannot truly say i know for sure the reason as he could be lying thru his teeth, and i wouldn't even know
EDIT** BESTBAXTER, dont b*tch at me for making this thread before i had the clear side markers on, did you consider the fact that i made this thread hoping to get some feedback as to if anyone would think they would look BAD? did you think about that honestly? or did you feel like opening your mouth and being a 'tard for no reason...cuz honestly i wanted opinions from people who KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT...which apparently excludes you...
but back to the point about dan, i appoligize for jumping to conclusions about his banning. it is not my place to make that assumption, and this is my public admittance to my wrong doing. metallicamaroRS, please accept this appology for being a ***** with you. it was out of ignorance...
i'll still be around, hopefully with more TECH related advice, but honestly the reason i haven't had as much to say about tech stuff is because my car is so low mileage (75K) that i havne't had problems with it yet, i am still trying to make it look it's best, not having to worry about how it runs
see you on the road y'all

glad to see you went with clears....they will bring out more in your car being such a deep blue and all.
As for the site, Im fine with no 'lounge' off-topic board....there's enough f-body sites that have them, and when you look at the board it's 1000's of pages of nonsense that you gotta dig through. I found this site by googling and until I started reading on here, I didnt even know that they made aftermarket hoods for thirdgens! Hell, I didnt know anything about the car, and almost 2 years later I've done nearly everything to my car by myself - and I have TGO to thank.

And its a good thing you voted for banning him. I will keep that in mind when us moderators hold our next "Who do we ban next?" meeting

And don't worry about it. People jump to conclusions all the time. People complain about me all the time. It doesn't bother me, its just a message board. In the future, I would prefer a PM/e-mail/IM if there is a problem before something like this happens.
But as others have said, this is a tech only site and will continue to be that way. I personally wish we could run this board much tighter than we already do (much like we used to before people started to cry about it).
And with that, I think this thread has had enough. Anyone with comments, problems or suggestions can PM the admin or myself of my co-mods. Thank you.
