Gonna get these S10 rims
Gonna get these S10 rims
well this lady came into my job in an S10 with these rims. i asked if she was interested in selling 'em. she said she didnt care, just would like my old ones back. so i might get 'em for 200 and i'd have to give her my pontiac rims. i know they are chevy but they do look sweet. i would have 'em on right now but realized that the lug pattern is the same but the center hole is slightly smaller for the rotor hubs. so she's supposed to get back to me next week about coming back to drop the truck off so i can send out the rims for a lil machining on the center hole. hope it dont cost too much. they are in ok shape, just need a good polishing. i was thinking of getting ronals, but i'll be happy with these. what u guys think?

Don't waste your money on paying someone to machine out the hubs on those wheels. I put them on my 92 S10 (same hub size) and just hit them with a file, took 5 minutes and didn't cost a dime. The difference is VERY slight and doesn;t take long to hit with a file.

i noticed those wheels have a lip inside the hole that looked pretty big. the main problem was fitting them on the back. the front went in but it was a lil tight. i tried to "push" the wheel in the back with the lugnuts but didnt have luck.

The fronts fit fine, but he's right, just take's a file & 5 minutes of your time for the backs.

i like them too. i actually thought about getting a set before i decided for the 18" irocs. but i think they'd look sick chromed, or highly polished.
thanx guys. ill for sure take pics. cant stand the formula rims anymore. look too basic and are a bitch to clean. these S10 rims definitely look better even when i was just test fitting them on my car.

you just need to file the holes a bit, they came off of sonoma's with the ZQ8 option, but dont take my word for it, check out my sig.

After Chevy ended the Xtreme option on S10s in '03 (I believe) GM still carried the ZQ8 option but with no gfx and changed the wheels to the ones you see in the first post. So if they were on that 2000 S10 they were not originally on the truck in 2000 but are from an S10

I've seen a number of posts about s10 wheels.. the above are just ugly even for free (granted.. my opinoin).
The (below) s10 wheels I've never seen talked about are the best (oem/imo) design yet.. it seems no one else likes them though (as they have never been brought up that I have seen)....
Is there something wrong with these ? ...

I just know people seem to like Roh wheels and the above one I posted always reminded me of the roh zs.. which I think looks pretty tough..

It's all opinion. I think they look cheap and cheezy with the crome centercap. I don't like a zero dish wheel either but, I guess I'm 'old skool' and like that deep dish look.
The right car.. the original posted wheels don't look awful though..
