will am gauges fit in the vents of a 4 inch harwood cowl hood??

just wondering kindof thought that would be a neat idea for a few extra gauges that i would like to put in my car. anyone that has done this please respond or anyone that has tried. if anyone has pics that would be great!! just thought maybe i could put a fuel pressure gauge tranny gauge and maybe oil pressure in the area where the vents are. well let me know what u think!

Well, I just mounted an Autometer shift light under the cowl on my car. It's totally out of the way, but still in perfect view. My hood has a cold air setup built in, I mounted it to the lower part. Since I didn't want to drill holes in it, I went to WalMart and picked up a roll of 3M trim adhesive tape. Plenty strong, and no holes required! As soon as I get another day without freakin rain, I'm going to put all the wires into 1/4" split loom, and run it neatly along the bottom rear edge of the hood to clean up the install. I'll post pics as soon as I get 'em.
