Clear parking lights!
What he said, and just to save you some time and money, HIDs absolutely do not work with an h4 conversion. Ask me how I know... Don't waste your money on an HID kit no matter what the seller/supplier tells you. The best you can expect are the Sylvania Silverstar h4 bulbs.

... My car came with clear marker/turn signals.
We want side markers! Find me some for cheaper than $50 and I'm all over it!

If anyone can clear this up for me i would greatly appreciated it

There is a tech article on the site that tells you how to do this, or you can buy the APC harness from Summit's website. The upgrade runs the bulbs off the battery with a couple of relays to protect your switch. I used the APC harness, but had to upgrade the "upgrade" because the wiring wasn't sufficient where it connected to the battery and we burned up the connector in about 10 minutes ( no exaggeration).
I had a an experienced tech put them in, so this was no hack job where I might have miswired it or something like that. We also installed a heavy duty fuse in the system for further protection (a very good Idea). Yes, the H4's run hot, especially on high beam, but I've had them a while and it hasn't affected anything. As for the housings, I found the ones I bought off of e-bay to be inferior product. They did not fit properly, and we had to modify the headlamp buckets (we cut the backs out of them) so the housings would fit. I also think the dispersion pattern of the actual light is not the best. I would recommend spending the extra cash to get the housings from Hella or there are some from Stylin' Concepts that I hear are far superior in both fit and light dispersion.
One other word about wiring, remember you need to adjust the wiring pattern for the bulbs to work properly. If you don't do it right, you will get a "dirty" brown glow from your high beams even when the bulbs are on low. Do a search, there are threads where this has been referenced.
Just want you all to be aware this isn't just a plug and play procedure.

Still hoping for some more pics of those turn signals...
Vaneat-91RS, which of Stylin concepts housings were you referring to? I checked out their site and wasn't impressed. None of the ones they have listed appear to be any better than any other supplier, in asthetics or light dispersion.
I personally have the Matrix glass lensed angeleye diamondback housings, they look great. I don't know about the light pattern though because I was using the cheap blue tinted bulbs they supplied at first, then had both of the low beams crack because of the heat. I think they cracked because the guy who installed them didn't wire them correctly. I bought the painless upgrade harness, which is made for a 2 headlight dual filament setup, the guy however spliced all 4 lights into the harness.

Well, I thought I would let you guys know so it hopefully won't happen to any of you... When I got home from a Taco Bell run the other day and walked to the front of my car I was shocked to see one of my new clear parking lights dangling out of the front of the bumper!
It was only being held on by the bulb itself. The screws had completely backed themselves out and almost put a hurting on my wallet.
Turns out the stock bolts are the fine thread kind and come loose quite easily. When you guys install yours, be sure to run coarse thread bolts.
-Josh.
P.S. brodyscamaro, just curious about what your thinking of using the lights for...

Honestly, if you want the best quality, performance and service, then check out Daniel Stern's website, @ danielsternlighting.com. That's where I'm headed when I get ready to correctly and completly finish my h4 conversion.

The paint on my front nose and ground effect is all messed up and I still have to replace the cracked windshield. I'm a perfectionist and hate to post pictures of my car looking this way. Regardless, I'll try to get you guys some better pics of the whole car by the weekend. -Josh

Here is a couple of pics with the new marker lenses on and with regular amber bulbs...old and new so you can see the difference!

And here are some pics with the syvania silverstar bulbs ($20.00 for a set)...when lights are off they look blue and when lights are on they are amber to keep them legal!

and a night shot that didn't turn out to good but you can see the the orange glow!

I just ordered a set of OEM look-alikes on ebay for $55 shipped to my door. I'll post pictures once they're installed. The old ones are so oxidized it's not even funny

I'm running some clear headlights that I had purchased off E-Bay some time ago. They look very close to Sinister's. The glass looks identical. The only difference is that chrome part in the back of the housing is smooth and lacks the diamond style look. I have not seen the same style that I bought, listed on E-Bay since I bought mine. I had a thread on here inquiring about them which included a link to the E-Bay site. However, I'm sure the link has long since expired. As for modifications, I had to take a dremmel tool to the back of the metel housings brackets on the car. This is necessary in order to accommodate the new light housings larger connectors. I also purchased APC's headlight conversion wiring harness kit Part # 509103. You can run the lights off the stock wiring, but you run the risk of cracking the housings and blinding people on the road. Good luck, Josh

I'm thinking this is about the only picture I've taken since I put on my new driving lamps. I got the OEM replacements from a vendor on Ebay for $55, and couldn't be more happy with them. They look absolutely gorgeous. I really like the stock look, and my old ones you coulnd't see inside them they were soooooo fogged up

[quote=camaroguy21;2782852]Thanks for the quick replies guys.
The headlights I bought off e-bay and I'm running the bulbs (blue ones
) that came with them. They don't put off that much heat though, and the beam pattern is excellent.
What exactly would you search for on eBay for those particular lights? I love 'em. Thanks
Katy

Ok, I did some searching and I'm pretty sure I found the guy I bought my headlights from off E-bay. Here's a link to the lights: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/82-92...mZ120036410581
This kit doesn't come with hi-beams like mine did, but he says in the auction to e-mail him about them. -Josh
