Which one should i get? I was recommended by camaroguy18 to get 15 lb solenoids bc the 45lb solenoids are way too much

there is a kit im thinking about getting that is two 15lb solenoids and 2 50lb poppers and then all the necessary equipment with it

i just want to make sure that im not ganna get this and it be too weak

you just gotta think about it for a second....how many lbs of pressure is actually applied to pulling the latch that opens the door?....not much, thats why I said 15lbs would suffice.....Ive had many problems with my 45lb ones (many here can remember a post I had last summer about not being able to get my doors open - which is a biggie since there are no handles on the outside anymore!).

Well with me being a mini-trucker also I've seen this alot. I would reccomend a little more then 15, I've seen them burn up unless the door is very easy to open. I got a SPAL kit for my truck for $107

i just purchased the VPA kit off of summit that has 15 lb solenoids...i guess if all goes to hell i can try to find some place that just sells the solenoids...i just read another post where someone was saying that the MAX you needed was 35lb which is all you can get btw 15 and 45...so hopefully 15 will do the trick just fine

let us know how it turns out....the VPA kit is what I have in my car....I like it...easy to use and even though I had it installed professionally, it looks pretty simple to setup
