Were you talking bout mine? I did 2 coats of VHT nite shade and 1 coat of clear. Then i sanded with 800 and 2000 grit and buffed them with meguiars ultimate compound. Turned out really nice IMO.

Here is my custom rear. The car is a 79, but I had custom braces made to put third gen lights in. I love the third gens so much, that I put the whole int of a third gen inside. Check it out hope you all like it.
Is this enough of a third gen to be on this site?

Thanks. Lots of hard work, but I think it came out great. This is my daily driver. I'm working on an 83 MSE right now. Trying to get ready for the T/A nationals in Ohio in Aug.

Dumb question. the Vht night shade tint you put that on the outside of the tails right excuse me teenage dumbness lol

 

Yes. Well i suppose you could do it on the inside, but it would be pretty hard to buff lol. Just make sure you use clear coat on top of the vht and then wetsand and buff it, or it will look dull and sh!tty
