Question is, Do I need to bother with doing the Topcoat on the Rearend considering its not going to be subjected to direct sunlight? If so, optimal bonding says to do it before the paint fully cures... anyway to do it now at this point? Scuff it up some and slap it on or??
In case anyone is wondering, I didnt paint the pumpkin cover because it was pretty rough, so im just going to pick up a new one from summit. I didnt paint the hubs yet because I needed to carry it back inside before I had to head back home. (doing work at my parents on the weekends)

I did the same thing about a month or two back when I got my 4th gen rear. You can really tell the difference. The only thing that I don't like is if there is a part where the POR didn't adhear too well it will peel off in a sheet instead of flaking/cracking. I did put a topcoat of PORs ChassisCoat about a week after I did the POR 15. It adheared pretty well. Here are some pictures of mine:

lookin good! i just painted my rear this weekend using POR-15. i metal readied it friday night, and painted saturday.. used 2 coats on it. turned out ok
