painting rims
i want to paint my rims from white to black but my question is how long does it take.this is my daily driver so i was wondering how long i would be out of a car.

i did all of mine, taped off, cleaned, sprayed, left time to dry in about 5hrs.

I did the stock Berllinetta rims (a bit harder to do than say Z28 rims) and it took probably 6 hours.. but that was a strip, polish, tape, primer, paint type of deal..

sand blasting reallt only works well with steel.. if you have aluminum wheels, then you would need the aluminum shot for it i think.. in order to get the best out of it, then you would have to take some mild abrasive paste and smooth everything out so it was nice and smooth, then you could paint. but at that point you could just as easily completely polish the entire wheel. I think i Am going to do that with the Z28 wheels. and also the berlinetta wheels this next round.
