What do you think of how this looks?

I'll be getting my car painted soon and I'm throwing around some ideas. I thought about painting the wheels black instead of the color of the car, the headlight pockets black, and also getting the gold fade that's on it now put back on. I know I don't want all of it because it just looks like there is to much there and doesn't look good. I had this picture photoshopped with all of the above and some white text on the tires since I know I will be getting RWL tires when that time comes.

I think I've narrowed it down that I'll either get the black wheels and headlight pockets, OR the gold fade. What do you think?

It's more yellow than gold but I really like the way it looks but I'm really leaning towards the black headlight pockets and wheels more now.

I think if you did a black fade instead of gold, it would better suit the look of the car

The fade is cool in the gfx, but not in gold. I say this cause my car has teh fade out of the vents. Someday I'll share pics with everyone.

Red paint with the black fades, headlight pockets and rims would look nice, i think it would look really good with some black stripes to go with it. Post pics when ya finish.

^ what he said. The gold fade looks like an afterthought. The black pockets and grille look great though, and I really like the wheels along with the other black bits. The gold....not so much.

I'll see if I can get the gold changed to black so I can check that out, I just don't know if I want to get that done again (in any color) if I do the wheels and the headlight pockets. I don't want to to look to "busy" and was just trying to do anything to get people to look at it, I want it to have a nice subtle appearance. It might look better in person or something because I like the way the gold looks on my car as it is now (just without the metal flake they put on the gfx with it).

If you're really serious about that, and I think it's a great idea, then I'd leave the fade off regardless of color. The black pockets and grille look very classy, the fade in the gfx detracts from that.

Do everything you described, but instead of the gold fade on the GFX, do black. I'm really feelin' that red and black theme...good ****.

I think the fade is cheesy. I like the black wheels and black headlight pockets.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm going to leave the fade off now. I've always loved the black and red combination. The Chevy logo on new grill I bought is red, so it'll blend in really well too. Thanks for all the opinions, after I get it painted I'll definately post some pictures. I just gotta get the new power mirrors and then get the old front bumper assembly off and then I can get her painted.
