fog light hell

both of the assemblys for my 88 trans am fog lights are gone and i dont want to go throught the hassle of getting new ones...were can i get some fog lights that are just dress up.....i know jegs sells some but they are mighty expensive condsidering that they dont work....also what is that measurement of both fog lights.....thanxs guys

You can get Blazer fogs from Wall Mart for $17 that look 99.44% identical.

Notice how they mount differently, but the guts will fit into the old casing if it's not totally demolished like one of mine was. I had to make new mounts that I riveted to the steel bumper.

I actually ran into the same problem with the stock fog lamps. The dealer wanted $80 dollars for a fog light. I told them to kiss my @$$, and went looking around. Found those WAL MART ones for 17 bucks, fit perfectly into the stock housing. A bit different, but like Jim85IROC said, 99.44% identical. I love them...especially since the ones I picked up from WAL MART shine a gorgeous bright lemon yellow, much like those fog lamps found on the newer Lexus GS 300's. $17 bucks...you cant go wrong...
