My Camaro was totaled, but check out my new ride

I bought my 92 Camaro when i was 16 and took care of it as if it were my own child. (with help from thirdgen.org of corse)
Then on May 1st, 6 years later I got rear-ended by some dumb girl. Traffic slowed down, so did I. About 3 seconds later i got nailed. The police report said I was going 10 mph and she was going 62. The good thing is that everyone involved was unharmed. (my gf was in the pas. seat) And also the crash was in no way my fault.
At first her insurance offered me $2400 for my car which was rediculous, but after getting lawyers involved they changed their price to $4000. Thats ok considering thats what i paid for it 6 years ago. So then i went shopping.
I found this 87 TransAm for $4500. 97,000 mi. t-tops, new leather seats, perfect interior, mostly stock except: full exhaust including headers, a posi rear and a chip. It's a beautiful car and was taken very good care of. Makes my old car seem crappy. Plus its a Thirdgen.

Gotta keep receipts of everything you buy for the car. I have like 5 grand of receipts not including the price of the car so if they tried to offer me anything less than I wanted I'd bust those out. Always good to have a receipt folder or something.

Sorry about the camaro. New car looks nice though.

Unless you have full coverage, those receipts are worthless though.
Nice Bird!

All you have to do is .........tell there insurance company you want 5k or you think your back and neck might be hurting too. they will pay up

That poor Camaro...Well, looks like you found something else to replace it with. I'd prefer a Camaro over a Bird, but hey if you're happy, that's all that matters. Nice car.

It scares me that no matter how careful you are with a nice car, someone can just BAAAMMMM, at no fault of yours...
Maybe I can put some bus flahers to go with my tail lights
