Cleaning spots off clear plastic over gauges??

The previous owner of my car must have sprayed Armorall or something on the clear plastic that covers my gauges, because it's very cloudy/spotty. Is there any way of getting this off? Glass cleaner does not work. Thanks.

Remove the plastic. Use something like 3M's Plastic Cleaner. Elbow grease.

If you have scratches or marks that cleaner alone won't fix (or if you scratch it while you're cleaning it) Chrome polish works well to buff out the scratches, but since it's a bit more abrasive than plastic polish, following up with plastic polish really gives it a nice luster.

I had the same issue on one of my daily drivers and someone told me to try toothpaste. It worked perfectly.
