If you do ones for the RS, I'll probably buy them if I can afford them since the original ones are no longer made.

Are you going to do a nose piece too?

I'd like to see what you do for the firebirds. Will you do different fonts? 3rd/4th gen firebird, 3rd/4th gen Firehawk fonts? I'd definetly get a set of the 4th gen Firebird(with the Firehawk font). That may be asking a little too much though. I'd take the 3rd gen Firebirds ones too.

I'll have to see what happens. I have tons of experience with the Camaro stuff, but dont know alot about Firebirds. And as for specialty stuff, I have to be careful because the setup fee and CAD work for each separate emblem is $70.00 plus the minimum order amount which means that I will have to have atleast 20 people that want them.

emblems

what do you do about the old paint in the holes?? they dont look like they fit very well either. and the slashes arent correct with the emblems. you would have to repaint to put these emblems on. also the car would look weird because there are no nose emblems to match. the way your making them you are going to have a hard time making the nose emblem. why dont you look at these i found on ebay a few nights ago. (rs-#330005875904) (z28-330005908487). he usually has iroc but there not listed.

Actually you wont have to repaint. Yes the paint in the holes is old but it has been covered and protected from the elements. I bought some Goo Gone to get the old adhesive out of the holes, then I'll wax with a small buffing pad by hand. And as for the slashes, if they went all the way through you would end up with a 3 piece letter which would be a pain in the *** to mount. And when I put my new front end on, I had the nose emblem spot bonded over and filled in to be smooth. You can get carbon fiber nose emblems from RK Sport, personally I dont like the nose emblems. And, the only reason I had these emblems made is because I wanted a set and no one makes any that look worth a damn, people just happen to say "hey I may want a set also" so I made a few extra, and yet more people want the IROC and the RS too, so I'll be making those. You are more than welcome to get the eBay ones, that is your taste and your choice which I respect. I wanted a thick, 3 dimesional emblem that had a "raw" look to it. Same texture and appearance as stock but alot more reflection and shine. I have a friend that has a white '91 Z28 that came with the mettalic red looking emblems, so I am putting a set on his after I paint them with metallic red paint or possibly transluscent red powder coat.

i would love a set of iroc ones. and i really like that you made these. they are the best looking eblems for these cars on the market hands down. but i dont have a z28 i have an iroc and i really dont want to put z28 emblems on it i want everyone to know it is an iroc. so i will wait for the iroc emblems, how long do you think it will be btw? and also those ebay ones are junk they are thin and all it is is a piece of matel and etching in it. they dont look very good and they look cheaply made. i would like a nose emblem to if you have that in the works and what about a 5.0 or 5.7 liter emblem for the back bumper too? also could you post a picture of one of your emblems on the dash? and i would like to see a picture of how thick the emblem is.

Looks great! Strongly considering buying a set... Do you have any more pictures of the rocker emblems installed, but from about 10ft. away? Any of the rear bumper emblem installed? Thanks, Josh.

PLEASE.. if anyone is interested in buying, see the classifieds... I dont want this post to get locked. I posted here just for opinions on how they turned out. I made the dash ones bigger because I thought the factory ones were small and dinky for that big *** dash. And yes the IROC ones are coming. Should take about a month, give or take a few days, but they are definitely coming. Here are a few more pics to tease you (I havent put the bumper on yet because my bumper one is brand new and I dont want to tear it up yet)...

I found some 3M adhesive tape for emblems that is .23" wide. You have to be very careful putting it on because it just fits on the letters, almost no room for error.

I have 3 payments on the way. 2 of them for the full set and one for the deluxe set. I am waiting on someone to send me some IROC donor emblems, I will find out if this one guy comes through or not.

Can i get a pic of the rear, im really debating on this. They look kind of hard to clean because of the grooves.

I've got someone sending me some IROC emblems, so after I receive them, it should be about a month before the stainless IROC ones are done.

Not sure what it would look like the same color as the car.
I have a friend that has a white '91 Z28 that came with the metalic red looking emblems, so I am putting a set on his after I paint them with metallic red paint or possibly transluscent red powder coat.
